Okay so i'll be honest, when I read that the hotel was 'Laura Ashley' I thought oh no! it's going to be full of old dears and resemble a 'posh' old folks home - totally hold my hands up I was wrong. It's a gorgeous hotel with outstanding decor, fixtures and fittings, views to die for and staff that were...

This was a wonderful surprise Birthday trip. My fiancé had booked us a suite here and as soon as we arrived our first thought was that it was the perfect location. Everything was right on our doorstep, with gardens leading down to the lake. Our room had a great view over the lake and was beautifully decorated. We had a...

This hotel made our holiday! The location was perfect. Waking up to that view was magical. It is good value for money when you think of the luxury that you will be living in. And the food is excellent too. Definitely highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Lake district.

We were very disappointed as we weren't warned prior to booking that the kitchen would be closed so just continental breakfast however as the snow fell we saw Bo'ness on Windermere at its best. This hotel has been tastefully renovated. The lake view room was delightful. The bed large and comfortable. A coffee machine and toffee bonbons a lovely touch....

Really enjoyed our stay here, sadly the restuarant was closed for refurbishment in fairness to the hotel this was in the small print which I didn't see but they did email separately to ensure I was aware of this and still wished to proceed which they didn't need to do and I felt was a nice touch. We had to...

Spent one night here 15/01/16 There was a slight mix up with the room being 2 singles instead of 1 double. This was sorted straight away. We were given a lake side view instead. This made our trip for us. The women on reception was very professional and nice nothing was too much trouble. The room was great. Staff were...
