Our daughter bought us a two night break at No 98 for Christmas. The booking was bed, breakfast and Afternoon Tea with Prosecco. We booked for Saturday and Sunday the second week in January. We arrived on a very wet Saturday afternoon and parked in the pay and display right behind the hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location...

We stayed at No. 98 as part of a family celebration. The reviews of the hotel all said how friendly the hotel was and how lovely the owner was, many commented on the amazing breakfast. We were equally pleased with our stay. We met 3 staff and the owner, all of whom could not do more to try and help...

If you're going to Weymouth I'd thoroughly recommend staying at this boutique hotel. It is decorated in soothing blue and neutral tones, and is packed with quirky seaside touches. The lounge and breakfast room is very cosy, and has great views out to sea. We had a lovely Dorset cream tea and prossecco included in our package, which we very...

Beautiful little boutique hotel. No-one in the lounge/dining room when we arrived but we simply waited a few moments taking in the relaxing and charming rooms and view until our hosts appeared. Our first floor, seafront room was perfect and the complimentary decanter of sherry a wonderful touch. We had to dash off to a party and asked if we...

Excellent couple of days spent here in between Christmas and new year. Great value for money. The hotel is gorgeous and beautifully decorated, exceeded all my expectations. Our family room was comfortable and the additional little touches, such as complimentary sherry, chocolate bars and white company toiletries are simple but effective to make the stay extra special. Breakfast is amazing,...

It was great to be able to park the car in the hotel's secure car park and know that it was safely tucked away for the duration of our stay as everything we wanted to do whilst there was close enough to walk to and there are ample busses. We were greeted warmly on arrival and shown the lovely 'beach...

We loved staying here for our pre-Christmas break. Our deal from Travelzoo was great value. The high tea was lovely and just what we needed when we arrived. The parking is so convenient and secure and having a sea-view is always a bonus. Others' comments about breakfast are definitely seconded - it's really good. Great choice and tasty. This is...

This is the second time we've stayed here and I still love it. Gail is a great host and her staff are all friendly and helpful. I went for the deal on Travelzoo which was really good value. The room was very comfortable with a big bed and a view of the sea which was lovely to wake up to....

Guest houses are guest houses, aren't they? They tend to be tall terraced buildings, with slightly faded furniture and worn out wonky fittings. The breakfast is predictable and forgettable. Then try No 98. You'll get a warm welcome and be surprised by the quality fo what's on offer. Our room was nice - nothing exceptional, but the bed was comfortable...
