I stayed at this hotel as part of a small group of friends. The location is great, close to the town, harbour, and beach. I had a single room on the top floor, very small room but it was adequate with enough storage, ensuite with power shower. Breakfast was very good, a variety of items to choose from and all...

The hotel itself is fairly outdated in terms of it's decor and appliances, but our room was very clean and spacious. It has a great location on the Esplanade, looking out across the beach, but the nearby clubs meant a thumping bass could be heard long into the early hours of the morning. We were really impressed with the breakfasts...

Read some very good reviews but came away a bit disappointed. The room we were allocated was small at the back of the building and next to an air conditioning/refrigeration unit. This would go on and off all night and coupled with the noisy drunks coming out of the pubs/clubs prevented us from getting a decent nights sleep. The Hotel...

Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. There was good range of food for breakfast. The hotel is very old fashioned and with a lot of stairs and twisting hallways. Very good location - right on seafront! Only thing I can complain about is that walls are thin and you can hear people walking in halls.

Hotel was Very clean, Breakfast superb and you get served!! Staff were very friendly, and our room was very adequate. The hotel is opposite the Pavillion, so if like me you like the Harbour, then it is just a two minute walk to it, plus you are at one end of the beach, so you can walk the full 3.5...

We booked the Fairhaven to spend a bank holiday weekend with friends without checking trip advisor first. All I can say is what do some people want for their money. We found the staff friendly and helpful although the hotel is a little old fashioned it was clean and warm with a great breakfast. We had a fabulous meal at...

As part of a group of 49, I was allocated a single room, sea facing on the first floor. Small, compact bijou, but the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful. Happily the restaurant underneath was closed for refurbishment and I was staying mid week! Bedding was clean and towels changed every day. However there were only 2...
