We were met at the railway station by a smiling David and conveyed to Bank End House.we stayed for only one night and wish we could have stayed far longer, the room was just the job and the breakfast was superb. You can expect a warm welcome at Bank End House. The house is in a nice quiet setting and the room clean, spacious and well appointed. You'll not be disappointed. Appleby is only a short drive away....

A very pleasant stay. Jackie and david were very welcoming and the food was very nice. The room was very comfortable and relaxing. We stayed for two nights while attending a weekend event not far away. On arrival we were met most warmly by Jackie and David with tea and cakes. Stayed one night whilst walking/driving in the area. Warm welcome (tea and cake). Excellent rooms and breakfast. Very peaceful. Very good value, would stay again if in area. Had a good meal in Appleby but should add that a car/bike or other transport is required.

Our final B&B at the end of The Dales High Way was everything we could have asked for; a warm welcome, comfortable room and beds, and a lovely breakfast. It was a pleasure to stay with hosts Jackie & David in their lovely home filled with arts and crafts.

We were made to feel very much at home during our stay. All our needs were fully taken care of including chilled water, fresh chilled milk and tasty biscuits. Jackie and David did everything brilliant. We were welcomed with tea and homemade cake. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. Breakfast was plentiful.
