Our stay with Ray and Julie was really lovely. They have a clean and cosy palace. Rooms were clean and comfortable with ensuite. The little extras in the room added the perfect touch for me :) Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. If ever visiting Beverley again, they would be the first people I would call for a room....

My husband & I had a lovely weekend break in Beverly & stayed at this smashing little guest house. We were made very welcome, the breakfasts were very good & our room was lovely. The room was well appointed with nice furnishings & decoration, a modern cubicle shower in a newly fitted bathroom completed the whole thing.

Second time stayed here and again nothing was too much trouble. Clean with all the amenities and lovely friendly people. Made to feel most welcome. Perfect location for visiting the old market town of Beverley and the surrounding area. Lots to look at in Beverley itself, including the Minster. Well worth a visit and suited our needs in visiting relations.

After seeing some great reviews about this hotel i emailed them in March to see if their was any availability for two twin or double rooms in July. I recieved an email back same day saying they would be in touch, three to four weeks later still waiting for a reply! Obviously their was no rooms available but it would...

Hospitable welcome from Julie. Free parking available in adjacent areas, just ask for a permit. Stayed just the one night, in Room 3, second floor, deluxe double. Very clean room, with the usual drinks selection (coffee, tea, hot chocolate), plus biscuits and a couple of chocolates. Toiletries included too. Bed reasonably comfortable but a king size would have been nice...

What can I say? We stayed here last night after a night out in Beverley with friends for my partners birthday. I've spoke to Julie a couple of times on the phone prior to our visit & I can honestly say we couldn't have been made more welcome by her & Ray. We had the suite, separate loo & shower...

Welcome to THE 5 EASTGATE A warm welcome awaits everyone all at THE 5 EASTGATE. Previously named The Eastgate Guest House, still owned and run by the same family for the past 51 years. Why the name change then? After downsizing THE 5 EASTGATE has been fully refurbished to a high standard. Maintaining the beautiful original Regency features which this historic house has, whilst hosting a contemporary look. As the original Eastgate Guest House was both number 5 & 7 Eastgate, we decided to start a fresh with a new name. So THE 5 EASTGATE was born. However it’s still business as usual, so all the things you’ve come to love and expect about Eastgate are still here, and much more. THE 5 EASTGATE has been accredited by Visit England, has 4 double bedrooms which are en-suite and 1 with private facilities. Rooms have digital flat screen TVs with 50 channel freeview, also tea and coffee making facility. Not forgetting the free Wifi… We’re very proud of our Breakfast Award and being part of “deliciouslyorkshire”, which means we use locally sourced ingredients from reputable suppliers only for your breakfast. Ideally situated in the heart of the historic town of Beverley. Within 5 minutes walk of the beautiful Minster, bus and train station. We want your stay with us at THE 5 EASTGATE to be on you remember and tell your friends and family about, for all the right reasons. We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
