Brought here as a surprise for afternoon tea! A lovely welcome and a quiet, comfortable place for a treat. We were served with prosecco, along with a selection of sandwiches, fresh and varied, and divine small sweet treats. The food was fresh and tasty, the only and small criticism was that we had to ask for the tea to be...

I attended an event at the hotel and decided to stay the night. You are welcomed into the hotel past a very welcoming log fire. I stayed in room 5, the room was small but so tastefully decorated you didn't really notice. After a great party in a beautiful ballroom I headed off to bed. I passed a member of...

The first thing to strike you is the warmth of welcome and the homely feel of Tickton Grange. Dine there and you experience a good menu and superb food. My mother had a lunch party there for her 100th Birthday last week and they could not have been more kind and accommodating. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the occasion....

Me and my family visited here on sunday and it was definitely a night to remember. Beautiful setting and the library bar was lovely and warm with a fire lit. We ate in the Broadley room and the food was delicious, especially the soup starter! The service was superb. Thank you so much to the hotel for accommodating us, will...

We stayed there for a family wedding in Nov 2015. Our room was not in the main house, but not quite at the granary. It was very comfortable and reasonably quiet, we needed to get over our jet lag before the wedding. There was no mobile phone signal that I could get, but the wifi service was excellent.

We visited for a family wedding and stayed in the Kuc room in the granary building. This was a very generous sized room with boutique furnishings. Room service is available for a small extra but the food we ordered was more than generous (2 could share a sandwich!). I thought the cost was a bit on the high side per...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I am so glad you enjoyed yourself, and particularly pleased that you appreciated the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon which was my father's favourite (and mine too!) Hope to see you again Maggy

This was recommended by friends who go to Beverley frequently for the racing. When we rang to book we were given a room upgrade and we were not disappointed. Dinner was well presented and very good (though it wasn't very easy chasing a lovely steak around a deep 'bowl' plate - form over function strikes again! The lamb was excellent...

Held a charity lunch here for St Catherine's Hospice at Scarborough for 153 people.
