This is a great campsite especially for dog owners. Loads of room per pitch. It has basic facilities, but the pay off is that it's quiet, peaceful and a great place to relax and unwind. It's close to the Cornish border. So not only are the brilliant beaches of Bude a short drive away but in the other direction is...

Lovely quiet clean tidy campsite that is dog friendly. Perfect for us. Large pitches with electrical hook up and a good waste/recycling area. Clean toilets and shower with hand wash. Washing up area with washing up liquid provided (brilliant idea because we had forgotten ours). Large field next door to the caravan/tent area for walking dogs off the lead. Lots...

The campsite is a fairly large field with only 15 pitches, hence the pitches are very generous indeed. The whole field is grass (no hard standings) which was perfect for us as we use a tent. The ground was fairly level and good quality soft ground (great for pegging out the tent). The majority of the pitches have electric hookup...

I almost didn't do a review because I selfishly don't want to share this place vicki the owner is the friendliest person who despite being very busy always has time for a chat. It is the most dog friendly campsite you could ever hope to find. It has basic but adequate and clean facilities and is located half way between...

This site is perfect for a quiet family holiday to recharge batteries and to relax. Don't come expecting club houses, large shower blocks and kids clubs. This site provides basic needs. There is one shower and three toilets housed in a cabin. They are clean and quite adequate for the size of the site. It's a very relaxed site, no...

This is my little bolt hole in the country, the facilities are basic but clean, the dog walk is great and the moment we arrive my lot can't wait to go and check out their walkie place before we can do any setting up, 'perfect for us' as it is only a few metres from the camping field. The pitch...

Beautiful setting, very friendly owners, lots of info about local area, places to visit etc. Cheap and cheerful, which is just what I want when I go camping - the essentials are there and we were up, showered and off every morning for a day of exploring. Got to watch the farmers making hay while the sun (tried) to shine;...

Don't arrive at Ashcroft Farm and expect a big shower block, lots of toilets, and a swimming pool; it just isn't that sort of site. If, however, you want a good pitch, on a small site on a working farm, with a hook up if you need it, and plenty of space to relax, walk your dogs, or just sit...

We were booked in for 2 nights but only stayed the one. The location was fine and we were told if it had been raining we may not get in. It is in a field with no hardstandings and we did leave as it had been raining in the night and thought if we stayed any longer would get stuck...
