If you are thinking about Salmon or Sea trout in Devon there's really no need to look further. Tim Stoop knows where and when your best chances are for some sport. With access to miles of river Tim has intimate knowledge of what tackle to use and where best to fish taking into account river conditions. And, as he did... More

I had booked to stay for fishing sometime before this year and paid a £50 deposit. I was contacted by Tim before the stay to say that the fishing would be impossible and could I cancel so that he could re-let the B&B, he would carry my deposit over for a future visit. I again booked this year to go... More

Tim and Angi are wonderful relaxed hosts. The place is comfortable, the location great, and you will find here one of your best chances of catching the elusive seatrout. Tim is a black belt fishing guide and the Taw has good numbers of fish. So go fish at Huish!

Arriving from Hong Kong Jet lagged and not very well, I booked into Huish Moor for a much needed break. I was met with a warm welcome from the proprietors - a lovely hard working - nothing too much trouble- couple. My room with bathroom en suite was comfy, cozy & very clean & complete with cream tea which consisted... More

We booked Huish Moor for a Birthday week-end on the basis of its excellent reviews and website claims. Sadly, we didn't experience Angie's cooking and hospitality as she was away. Cream tea on arrival was a nice welcome. Breakfast was disappointing and a poor sample of local "excellent standard of food": the lowlights being one very thin small sausage and... More

We booked as a last minute break in order to meet up with our grandchildren who were staying nearby. What a wonderful place this was and was in a perfect location for us as we both enjoy bird watching. Tim and Angie are such lovely people and were able to advise us of the best places to go to see... We booked the appartment on the morning of our arrival, because we needed alternative accomodation. They made it possible for us in this short time. The service was great. The house is really nice. Bedrooms downstairs, fully equiped kitchen upstairs with a nice living room. The children loved the place, the landlords and the landlords dog. The landlords were very... More

I never really understood the significance of the 'B&B' host and hostess until I stayed at Huish Moor. Tim and Angie are the consummate team in making you feel a special paying guest. Perfecting that required blend of attention, privacy and all the warmth of a good home. In addition, separately they each have their own specialist skills including Angie... More

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary and had a lovely stay. Our en-suite room was very clean and comfortable and the sitting room, where we sat to have our welcome home-made cream tea - a lovely touch - was very cosy with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Angi and Tim were very welcoming and friendly and the... More

We stopped in the Huish Moor b&b this bank holiday weekend and I have to say that from arrival to departure it was a lovely experience. The owners were very pleasant and made you feel relaxed from the off. The Huish Moor is in a secluded, quiet area and has stunning views that have to be seen. The hospitality including... More
