I was new to camping but now feel it will be a life long part of me and I will most definitely be going back! The Forest is truly amazing & teaming with wildlife. My pets were made to feel very welcome by staff, even my lovely cat who found watching the the bustling wildlife very entertaining. The two ladies...

Beautiful location with lots of walks locally . Surrounded by wildlife from wandering Deers and hooting owls at night. Limited facilities ie no showers or toilets. Welcomed by lovely chap who was very helpful and friendly. However later in our stay we bump heads with another site warden that others have had issues with. A very grumpy lady who maybe...

We love this site it's like home from home for us.If you wake up early you can see deer right by your van! If not a short walk and you will find them.we think this site is great for children (our grandson loves it) with nature on the doorstep. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.

We had a lovely week at Setthorns. My only concerns were the lack of security and people driving at speed around the campsite. It was nice to be able to go and walk on the disused railway line, and wasn't far from Brockenhurst for services.

We stayed for one night at Setthorns end of Feb 2017, for the first time in our new motorhome. I had previously stayed at Setthorns with my parents as a child some 20 years ago and keen to recreate great memories for my children and husband. It was just a lovely as I remembered. Upon arrival the staff in reception...

Wanted a night away in our van, arrived at 4pm no one on reception so found ourselves a spot, amazed at how many people were here at this time of year but they clearly live here. It's a nice enough spot but probably wouldn't return.

Excellent camp site run by a great team. Stuart was really helpful on our recent visit. The site is set amidst trees and wildlife with great cycling routes. You could not get closer to nature, birds deer and ponies nearby.

A forest campsite, what more could you want.? Met a lovely lady at reception on arrival at 730pm. ( although the lady on the phone was very brusque/bordering rude) Little disappointed to see that a lot of pitches are taken up with seasonal/year long campers, therefore leaving hardly any room to get a good pitch :( Anyway, we just about...

Stayed for a weekend in September 2016 and loved the peace and quiet. Visit only spoilt by the inexplicable £5 we incurred for family visitors who stayed 1 hour for a cuppa. I only popped into the reception area and asked where the visitor parking was and was told by the irritated receptionist that there was a £3 charge for...

We loved it here, camping literally in the middle of the forest was brilliant, you can walk from the campsite onto many paths & tracks as well as go for short, drives to pubs & restaurants locally, it was fantastic
