Really enjoyable stay for one night. Loved the view from the balcony and the room was large and the bed excellent. Although well equipped the bathroom was small and the shower over the bath was not five star. Everything else was good with a most enjoyable breakfast and it was good to have off road parking as this is a...

This is most definitely THE place to stay in Bude, unless you want to pay quite a lot more for one of the 'Boutique Hotels' that have appeared recently! It's perfect for a family/friends get-together, with just 3 letting bedrooms clustered near each other on the first floor. Paul & Mary manage to strike the balance between relaxed and friendly...

We came for a long weekend between friends and had the blue and green rooms between us and we felt so welcome and taken care of. The rooms are of a high standard, roomy and very comfortable. The green room has canal and sea views, while the blue room has garden views, a balcony and a large bathroom. Breakfast was...

We have stayed several times now and the standards have never dropped. Paul and Mary fully deserve to have the only 5*B&B in Bude. Always feel welcome, looked after, great place to relax and chill away the worlds stresses.

We have just returned from a fantastic one week holiday in Bude. We love Bude itself so much we return every year, we now love Breakwater House too and are returning next year. Paul and Mary are the best hosts, breakfast lovely and the rroms are gorgeous. We were in the Blue room at the back of the hotel which...

We came last year, (see previous comment). It is the jewel in the crown of Bude! This year we have brought my in-laws and they too are thrilled by their room (The Green Room) and we have The Red Room! It's lovely, breakfast excellent, Paul and Mary so welcoming, it is like going back to visit a favourite Aunt and...

Visiting parents in Bude, this is by far the loveliest B&B I've stayed in for a visit. The green room may not have a balcony but it does have 3 very large sash windows. Even in the high temperatures we experienced this weekend a lovely breeze came in through the open windows and what a beautiful, panoramic view. We loved...

We've spent a week or so walking the coast and this is the best place we've stayed at so far. Very smart room, great location, welcoming hosts, good breakfast (including fresh fruit), and at a very reasonable price. Pretty much perfect.

Paul and Mary could not have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and made our first trip to Bude special. Breakfast was varied and plentiful would recommend the smoked haddock and poached eggs. choice of DVD's for your room. Brendon Arms just a few minutes walk away was good place to eat at night also.

We stayed in the Red Room which was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Mary and Paul are lovely hosts and Mary's cooked breakfasts are delicious. A perfectly placed B&B to enjoy Bude.
