Rob Roy's Way - we were made to feel welcome. Accommodation was fairly decent and brekkie not bad for the price. Happy to recommend this little spot for stopping at within the nice area of Callander. Good place for Rob Roy walkers

Room in the attic, clean but dated. The bed was comfy and I did sleep surprisingly well, once the couple below us had stopped arguing!! Breakfast okay, a little bit on the greasy side and would have liked more than 1 rasher of bacon. Staff friendly and helpful, but felt it was a little bit pricey for what we got.

My husband and I spent 6 days in Scotland for our anniversary in Oct of this year and our stay in The Crags Hotel in Callander was our favorite. After a very, very long flight from the US and a short drive from Edinburgh, we arrived at The Crags earlier than our designated check in time exhausted and hungry. Even...

We love Callander so decided to book in here for the weekend. Got here and found that the room was absolutely nothing like the pictures. Room was smelly, bed didn't look like it had been changed, shower had ants in it and was very bad with mildew. The only saving grace was that the room was serviced after the first...

Yes, this hotel is old! Yes it could do with updating but it was perfect for what we needed travelling with 3 young children. We were on the first floor in a very large room. We have a 7yo, a 4yo and a 2yo. The main room had a large double bed with a very comfy mattress and a good...

This is a delightfully quaint hotel with small rooms and old yet functional and in the case of our bed at least, comfortable furniture. The breakfast was very good although the coffee was a bit lacking in robustness, we requested a change of table which was accommodated pleasantly. Our room, 4, was small and overlooked an alley, there were no...

After travelling 350 miles, we arrived in Callander on a beautiful hot, sunny afternoon. What a beautiful place Callander is. We went to the Crags Hotel, as had an overnight stay, whilst touring Scotland. I decided to book the four poster room, as a treat for my husbands birthday !! We were given our key and told to make ourselves...

Why the asterisk? It's not entirely fair to rate a hotel if you haven't stayed there......but we did pay for the room. When we arrived it was readily clear that the pictures we based our booking on were deceptive. The rooms pictured may exist but they certainly were not what we were given. What we were given had shower mold,...
