Beautiful, clean room with comfy bed, fabulous shower, and tasty breakfast. Longacre provided us with the perfect, tranquil resting place on the edge of Dartmoor for our weekend away. Despite being a b&b, the room feels private, and our host Alex provided a very attentive service for us without being overbearing. He cooked us fab breakfasts to suit our preferences....

We told the owner that we would need to arrive in the evening. On arrival we struggled to find anyone to show us to our room. We had a number to call but very little network coverage. Very nice room and the host was a lovely guy.

DO NOT BOOK! Nothing wrong with the room, just that the owner has a serious attitude problem and doesn't understand the meaning of Customer Service. After leaving my iPhone charger there by accident and calling the day after he had agreed to send it to me after he got back from his holiday. After a month passing i called to...

So we arrived later on in the day having had a gorgeous day in the Devonshire countryside; for the record, this place is in the middle of nowhere. When we arrived we struggled to find the owners of Longacre but having followed my nose around the back of the property there they were. The owner greeted me happily and showed...

We had difficulty finding this B&B and were fairly traumatised travelling down tiny one car country lanes and meeting large farm tractors and having to reverse before we finally arrived at Long Acre. We had seen the sign but missed the name and had driven past before we got completely lost in the countryside and sought help from a couple...

When you are urging for the sounds of silence, this is the right place to be. Cute rooms, tasty breakfast, lovely barn with a stunning garden! Great location to explore the surroundings. Close to everything between Dartmoor and Dartmouth.

Lovely little B&B in a very secluded location. Be warned there are tight country lanes to get to this B&B. The room was a great size and very clean, plenty of space to put clothes, etc, even had a little fridge in the room. The shower was refreshing, there were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a...

Great little hideaway and oasis in the middle of Moreton'. Lovely people, lush breakfast with log fire blazing in the hearth ! Great selection of drinks in the room, along with fresh milk. No telly but loads of reading matter. Would have liked a bigger bath towel but I survived !

The room and bathroom were well presented, clean and a pleasure to stay in. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room as described and the addition of a fridge was very useful. In fact I can't really fault the accommodation at all. So why only 2 stars!? I booked longacre as the photos appeared to show a private...
