Jasna, shyani went above and beyond customer services . It is really lovely to be welcomed with a big and lovely smile Always trying to help and get things sorted quickly . Food was great Both the reception and the room were spotless AMaZING VIBES .
Positive, the bedding was clean! The hotel is in a very tired condition, all carpets are badly stained, in the room I felt I couldn’t walk barefoot. The bathroom had a musty smell as though there is a slow water leak somewhere. Only two bath towels no hand towel or bath mat - making for a wet floor! Slow shower, bath looked mucky, the edge of the anti slip mat was black and a pubic hair in the bath, sink dirty. Chair in room damaged. Location was fantastic, central for all amenities, we felt the hotel deserved money spending on it to bring it up to date. Some of these items were brought to the staffs attention, I can’t find anywhere to make a complaint other that a letter - in this day and age!
Not the best tbh! Room was dirty, skid marks in toilet from previous user, hairs in the sink, dirty underwear under the bed and stains everywhere. Lady on reception seemed nice and the hotel is located near shops/restaurants being the only positives. Warning don't be late to your car when the parking charge expires! The parking Warden is there waiting and it must be a nice little earner for him!!
We arrived late. The person manning the front desk didn't have a clue, it was his first day. The hallway to our room had more stain patches than clean carpet. Our room carpet was even worse, the stains looked like vomit patches, it was that bad that we kept our footwear on just to walk from the bed to the bathroom. The bathroom was a guests worse nightmare! The towels were dirty and hung on the back of the door, the entire bathroom hadn't been cleaned, there were hairs stuck on the bath and the walls, THIS ROOM HADN'T BEEN CLEANED! In the morning we went to the front desk where the manager was sympathetic, he told us that the entire building was going to be refurbished in a couple of months and there was nothing he could do with the room but he would try and find us a room at the Bournemouth Travelodge and he would call us when he had sorted it. Well, he didn't call us (no surprise there) so we went back to reception and was told by the lady, who was also on her first day, that the manager had left and there was no way of contacting him. She tried to find us another room but with no joy. We asked for our money back and she said she couldn't do that, we would have to write a complaint and she would put notes on our booking. We found a room in a different hotel and just left.…
Like the title says the room was dirty and full of dust. The ventilation system in the bathroom wasn't working and the shower head was poorly leaking from the seals. Overall the whole building was looking tired. Definitely needs refurbishment.
I booked via different website which was an easy process. It was upon arrival at the hotel the issues started. It stated on our booking that the check in time is midday , while we were told that the check in time is 3 pm as people are checking out at 12 and that the hotel has three hours to get the rooms ready, whisk makes sense but Travelodge should make clear with the other website how that should be updated to prevent people like us following what’s said on our booking, come early and be told to wait. It would save lots of confusion in future. Check in queues were long and the staff struggled at check in desk to give me a room key - they were all trainees. The room was terrible, run down and blood stain on the linen.Certainly not as advertised on their website. No remote control in 1 of the rooms was missing , regular requests made to have a replacement made, never received one! A real disappointment and a bad taste left.…
We requested a week prior to our stay and again on check in that we needed a bed removed from the room so we could erect our travel cott and were assured this wouldn't be a problem, we got back to the room at midnight (had been to a wedding) to find the spare bed still hadn't been removed, so my partner collaped it himself and moved it into the hallway so we could just concentrate on getting the kids to bed without a fuss. We were then rudely awoken, early hours of the morning by angry shouts and knocking through the door that we had caused a fire hazard and needed to move the bed immediately. My partner said he was just getting dressed and then he'd move the bed (after they shouted to us that the bed would slide under the double bed for storage) and he was told if he didn't hurry up they'd come inside and do it themselves. I fully understand there was a fire hazard that needed to be dealt with but had they moved the bed when we asked, or just told us initially we could move it ourselves to under the bed the fuss could have been avoided. Customer service was exceptionally poor. The bedroom had one light not working and the sink was blocked making it unusable. Positives - fairly cheap, clean, good location and quiet. …
Hotel situated perfectly in town, but parking a bit of an issue. However once inside, Louise and the extremely helpful staff welcome me with open arms and went above and beyond to make my visit as enjoyable as possible. Would definitely stay here again.
Very clean room, bed comfortable but whole building tired scuffed and stained. The 'please top me up' sign on door was not observed. The only member of staff I saw was acceptable. The car parking situation was not suited toa line female. You may be cheap but I won't stay again.
Stayed here for a few days. Received a huge warm welcome from staff - all staff we had contact with were friendly. Standing out front you’d think it wasn’t a big one. Honestly it’s huge like a rabbit warren. One thing it doesn’t mention on the website that they should is it has a lift to all levels. It’s a small one but does the job I was able to get my Luggie scooter in and out with ease. ( if you can’t walk we’ll definitely bring your scooter or aids as corridors are long! ) Room was clean and tidy with lots of room in it. We were next to the main road in the 2nd floor - the noise luckily didn’t bother us. There was a little lip going from the room to the bathroom that kept trying to trip me up! And little niggle off door handle to bath room falling off. But Overall a great stay. I’d recommend and would come back…
