My husband and I were very much looking forward to our evening meal last weekend, we have eaten here in the past and have always been happy with our meals. We were very happy with our starters and thought so far so good! We both chose the 12oz sirloin steak for our main course and at £20 we were hoping...

Thank you for your feedback, I am disappointed you did not enjoy your recent meal here. Our Steaks are a very popular menu item, I am sorry they were not to your liking, I do hope though to see you back again soon

Very nice, clean and fresh, comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast very good. Central to New Forest and lovely area. Good parking. However lots of stairs and steps - not ideal for disabled. But enjoyed it anyway.

Lovely spacious hotel with old world charm. Located in a quiet English village, but only a short drive to Christchurch, Ringwood and Bournemouth. Pleasant, spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed. Spacious dining areas with good menu choices. Really enjoyed the quality of the food and served by friendly attentive staff. Breakfast also excellent, with a great range of choice...

Returned home tired and hungry after a long journey and just fancied a hassle free carvery, but knew they would be packed out on a Sunday evening at the height of the season, so stopped here on the offchance. It was early and quite empty and we enjoyed the best roast beef ever. Crispy veg, sumptuous gravy - yum. We...

Lovely family friendly bar/restaurant and hotel. Great atmosphere. Excellent customer service and an extremely friendly bar manager. Beautiful country side setting and the rooms are top class. Food is excellent too! Highly recommend a visit and we will be returning again.

Recently stayed in very spacious, nicely decorated room above the inn.The bed was very comfortable and the spotless en suite had a huge walk in shower. Breakfast was very good, made with quality ingredients as were the dinners that we enjoyed in the restaurant. Will definitely be returning.

My family and I stayed here for one night as we wanted to spend a couple of days exploring the new forest and Bournemouth. It's a traditional pub with a restaurant and rooms. Ample parking facilities. Our 2 rooms were in the coach house within the grounds of the pub. Friendly staff and smooth check in. Rooms are dated but...

Nice room in building separate to the inn. Nice touches like bottled water, biscuits, choc bar. Bath and shower. Comfortable, big bed. Dog friendly. Free parking. Excellent breakfast- I travel a lot and this was perhaps the best breakfast for a long time. Pub food expensively priced so ate elsewhere. It was a hot night so had windows open. Late...
