Hotel's Favourite
We had a very pleasant overnight stay here with my mum and sister to celebrate a special birthday. We stayed in a family room which was perfect for us - a double and twin rooms linked by an internal lobby that led to the bathroom. Rooms were well equipped and very comfortable. Complimentary gin and sherry was provided and a birthday card and chocolates had been left for my sister. Another nice touch was the colouring book, crayons and elephant towels left on mine and my sister’s beds although we did leave them for the next guests! ; D We had a sparkling afternoon tea which rivalled the ones we’ve had in the famous London hotels and a breakfast so good we didn’t need lunch! We were able sit on the upper terrace each time we visited the restaurant and enjoyed the gorgeous view. We also visited the Upper Deck in the evening for cocktails and wine. A really comfortable, stylish bar. I used the spa facilities in the morning and this was a real treat. A nice sized pool with Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna (also a gym which I don’t use) which led on to a gorgeous ‘hideaway.’ This opened up onto a terrace with loungers and views of Mudeford Quay. Teas and water were also available. The location itself can’t be faulted - the hotel overlooks Mudeford Quay and has been designed so that the views can be appreciated from all the main rooms. The quay is within walking distance which is well worth doing. Finally, the most wonderful thing about this hotel is it’s staff. I’ve never experienced such friendly, professional and efficient service. Everyone we spoke to from reception to housekeeping was so lovely and helpful and really created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The team in the Upper Deck restaurant and bar worked especially hard as it was very busy. They kept a smile on their faces despite having to deal with one very difficult guest. Well done to you all - the situation was handled discreetly and with dignity. I’m not sure I’d have been so nice! Thank you for making our stay so special. We won’t hesitate in recommending this hotel to family and friends and we will most definitely return.

My husband and I were treated to a surprise meal in the Upper Deck restaurant, by our children, for our 50th wedding anniversary. Our meal was absolutely delicious, just about the best we've ever tasted. It was served to us by Phil, who could not have been more attentive and caring. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

We visited for one night for as Christmas Party event. The hotel is super and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We had lovely food and fabulous service. The hotel is right next to the sea. A little gem! We also upgraded our room to a deluxe with a view. It was delightful.

This was our first visit to this fabulous hotel. We have been wanting to visit for a long time and finally made it last month. Excellent service from all the staff . All very friendly, from David who carried our luggage in and up to our room and gave us all the information we needed, to the reception staff and and Phil and the team in the upper deck restaurant. We had a fabulous cream tea while we waited for our room to be ready and our breakfast and evening meal was faultless. Can thoroughly recommend a stay here especially being so close to the Quay and lovely walks.

This is an amazing hotel with great facilities and fabulous staff who are attentive to your needs and who want to ensure you have a great stay. I am now approaching my 50th stay at this hotel and never get bored of coming here. The 2 restaurants offer super food in the evenings; breakfasts are lovely too with lots of choice. The only slight downfall (and I mean slight) is the gym which is quite tiny but it does have a running machine, a couple of cross-trainers, two bikes and some weights. This should not detract from the remainder of the facilities that include a swimming pool, sauna and steam room. The hotel is literally right next to the sea; there is a great seating area on a lawn that offers fantastic views of the natural harbour. Simply, come here and you won't be disappointed.

This hotel is really lovely, from the staff to the complementary G&Ts in the room on arrival. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We used the spa, that was ok, though we felt that the swimming pool was a bit colder than we would have liked, but that may just be us being wimps!

Thank you so much for joining us and taking the time to review us on TA. We are thrilled you enjoyed, it is difficult with the swimming to get the balance right, however we will take this into consideration especially in the cooler months.
