This is a beautiful place, surrounded by rolling countryside with breathtaking views. The apartment we stayed in was everything we needed, clean and well maintained. The location is perfect and the walks are well mapped out from Rock Lodge.

Second visit for us this time around with a baby and dog. It's a beautiful place so serene and quiet. Countryside is just buzzing with wildlife and the forest is a stone throw from your room. The breakfast is also lovely a nice full English done the proper way and not swimming in grease. We're already planning a trip with...

We stayed in a double room on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was on the small side, particularly with a largish dog, but adequate. The en-suite again was a little small but perfectly suitable. The accommodation is quiet and backs onto fields which made having breakfast (when not too wet or cold!) outside in the garden a very...

Right from the outset we received a very warm welcome from Claire, who could not have been more accommodating. (She came to our rescue when we discovered we'd left our dog leads at home!) The apartment was in a beautiful location with glorious views and literally yards from the forest trail to the rock. The room itself was spotlessly clean...

Stayed in the B&B for a night midway through walking the Wysis Way. Great location. The couple running it are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. The room was warm and clean. Loads of helpful information in the rooms and in the breakfast room. As others have said, the walls are fairly thin, but it wasn't too busy so...

Lovely clean little B&B with parking and fair breakfast. The bed was very comfy. Walls are thin but it is very peaceful , just heard the occasional cough. Dogs are allowed but also a lovely say for non dog owners (like me) 4mins drive to Symonds Yat rock and 10mins drive to Symonds Yay east. 7mins drive to coleford. 15mins...

Really central location for the Forest of Dean. Booking was easy. We booked self-catering our accommodation was clean and well appointed with superb views of the country side. Nice walk to Symonds Yat through the forest to riverside (good pub serving excellent meals). Many lovely places to visit in the area.
