We had stayed here 3 years ago and thought the chance to go back and try a hobbity dome was too good to miss. I am so glad we did! Yes you have to heat your own water and your dome but that is half the fun of it! This time we cooked pancakes on our wood burner and I...

We wanted a break that would be different, in touch with nature with us in charge, something that would pull our splintered recently bereaved family together and entertain the children. We arrived at this hidden oasis. strewn with spring flowers contrasting with space-like domes each set within an area of decking, a covered outside kitchen which was so well thought...

Lovely location with a selection of individual domes. There was everything we needed - comfortable beds, great eating area and bathroom with its own wood burning stove. It is perfectly arranged so you can be social with others or have privacy. We had excellent home made pizzas.

An absolute cracking time, amazing place, really nice, like-minded fellow glampers to chat to and uber friendly staff. As it says at the top, Brilliant. The domes are very comfortable and spacious, the ensuite loos are a godsend (after all, who wants to go trogging off to some shared facility block on the other side of the site in the...

We went to the Dome Garden for a long weekend with two other families who were staying in different Domes. The set up is amazing and like nothing else, and has bags of character! It is Glamping at its best, with lots of lovely ideas to make the visit special. You can 'split' your own logs to use either in...

The good bits: 1. The site is wonderfully landscaped with beautiful trees (including a fabulous Monkey Puzzle and beautiful copper beech), bamboo, willow tunnels and plants. There are multiple swings and a zip wire for the kids, which our children loved. 2. The dome concept is great - very spacious, wacky and they look fabulous at night lit from inside....

Hi Rich. Thanks for your comments. Really glad you enjoyed the bits you enjoyed, but obviously less pleased about the bits you didn't. So here's a few thoughts. First off, VALUE FOR MONEY. Always an issue here as we are one of the more expensive (but by no means the most expensive) glamping sites in the country. The dome you...

Another trip to the Dome Garden and once again we all loved it. The weather wasnt too bad but with a real nip in the air - we had to cosy up to the woodburner in the evening to stay warm. Kids loved running round all day in their wellies and we went on a magical walk through the forest...

Having done a lot of camping over the years and having decided to stay in the UK for a holiday this year we decided we would try glamping! The Dome garden website is attractive and fun and promises a lot, unfortunately it did not deliver. Once we finally managed to find the site we had a good welcome and shown...
