Really nice place to stop and take time to relax whilst keeping an eye on the maritime activity on the estuary. We only stopped for a drink and the service was quick and the Pale Cornish ale was great, obviously look after the drink, so I guess the food will be good as well.

We've been lucky enough to spend regatta week in the best place to stay in Fowey. It didn't matter that after 5 days of brilliant sunshine the rain and mist rolled in because it gave us an excuse to spend leisurely hours in the bar chatting away with whoever came and joined our table. We also had a fab estuary... More

Ate here with family recently. Pizzas were well made and were a good portion size. The American hot pizza is certainly spicy , but is very tasty. Wine list is good and wine is quality. Garlic bread was enormous and could have filled you and this was only the starter.

Fantastic location ,staff polite ,meals were plentiful The Galleon is a pub with 7 ensuite rooms with a lovely patio area which looks over the water so we had a good view of the ship. Fowey is a lovely little fishing village with the Galleon being in the heart of it ! In the evening it was very busy and... More

We chose to stay at the Galleon after visiting on a day trip from Looe 2 years ago. We booked some months ago and managed to get one of the 2 sought after rooms with a river view. Breakfast is fab with great choice and freshly cooked to order Parking can be a nightmare if you don't plan but luckily... More

Clean and comfortable rooms. Fully cooked breakfast amazing and hot. Very very good value. Views stunning. Only downfall car park a fair hilly walk which is fine but have to be at car by 9am to pay again. Other than that will definitely be back x

We stayed at The Galleon Inn for 3 nights (Bed and Breakfast). From the moment we arrived, to our departure all of the staff were really warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which as we all know can make a nice stay great! Well our stay was.......great!! The location is central and right on the river, which is excellent, and exceptionally... More

We visit Fowey once or twice a year and come lunch time always head straight to 'The Galleon Inn'. The staff are always courteous and very well organised. Never have to wait long for food, which we've always found to be excellent. Even at busy times the service is fast and efficient. Check the blackboard for the list of available... More

We were looking for somewhere to eat. It was getting late so we took a locals recommendation (usually that's a bad idea). Initially seated outside with fab views of the estuary we ordered fish and chips twice. Reading the warning sign about marauding seagulls we moved into a covered eating area attached to the main building. The meals were lovely... More

Lovely place, the food was lovely and the cheapest meal we all had in the 2 weeks we had in Cornwall. I had a gammon steak and my husband had chilli concarni and our boys had fish bites. The grandparents had a pie each. All of which was all eaten up! We first visited here 4 years ago and it... More
