Easy booking through Booking.com, room was clean and comfortable with an attractive bathroom. We had an evening meal in the pub which was well cooked and reasonably priced. We were able to sit overlooking the river, watching the boats coming and going. Although there are warning signs about the habits of the seagulls we survived without attracting their attentions. The...

We have visited this place for many years due to the exceptional views and decent beers only free house in Fowey. The only downside was the seagulls but now with the amazing looking sails over the riverside seating area it's safe to eat outside without fear of thieving seagulls or being pooped on. Well done guys. And the food ain't...

Called in the gallion inn only because it was raining but glad we did.excellent service with a good food selection, very good+helpful bar staff with a really friendly atmosphere, outside table,s(covered). Good selection of local beers+drinks and while we were there they had a trio singing and playing instruments who to our surprise were very good and we ended up...

Reasonably priced food, steaks tasty, veg lasagne and steak pie were all yummy. Lovely big room, with a vast ceiling, overlooking the river watching the boats go by. Listening to the music later on, and the chips were good too.Very comfortable.

Live band playing under our bedroom was not told about this. Place needs a makeover to clean down seagull mess in the courtyard. New furniture in bar areas needed. Wine like vinegar glad we did not eat here place needs some money spent on it. 😓😡

Called in for lunch on a visit to Fowey. The staff were very attentive, menu was varied and we had an excellent lunch. The pub is in a stunning location right on the waterfront. Oh and the beer is pretty good too !

We've stayed at The Galleon a few times over the past 15 years and once again, booked room 4, the largest room with lovely views of the river. I must say, on this occasion we have been quite disappointed. The room hasn't been updated in all the time we've visited and is now looking very tired and dated - circa...

The food was ok. The scampi was alright but think I would prefer my parents beef and ale pie. Reasonable prices and special prices. We had 3 mains and 3 alcoholic drinks coating £41. Plenty of space in the restaurant. Don't sit at table 16 as there was a whiff of the toilets.

There is only one word to sum up this accommodation and it is PERFECT!. Perfect views, perfect rooms, perfect food and perfect staff. My only regret is that our stay was only for one night! I could of sat in the bar overlooking the beautiful river forever. A must if you are travelling nearby.
