The pretty Cornish town of Fowey, is a delight to explore. Clusters of characterful buildings, cottages and shops tumble down the hillside to rub shoulders with those stacked along the curving main street, which runs parallel to the Fowey estuary. Fowey Harbour Hotel, with its wonderful views over the town, estuary and the sea is the perfect place from which to explore it all! There's plenty to do and see too. Shopping is fun, with a variety of independent specialist shops, galleries and delicatessens - with not a high street name in sight! The town is a most pleasant walk from end to end; to be taken at a reasonable dawdle, in order not to miss a bit as there are some wonderful surprises just round every corner. From here you can venture east or west along the South West coast path and walk for miles or drive no more than a short distance, to visit the numerous sights and attractions situated in this lush, verdant area of Cornwall.

Recently refurbished, this little gem is a great place for Sunday lunch. They offer an amazing deal of 4 courses for £19.95 with, apart from the amuse bouche cup of spiced celeriac soup (delicious), at least 4 choices for each course. The food was, for the most part, wonderful.

We’ve been here a few times in its previous incarnation but this was the first visit to the renmed Fowey Harbour Hotel. All the faded elegance of old has gone and the place ( bar and dining room) has a contemporary feel. We had drinks and dinner and the whole experiene was

We had heard that the hotel had had a makeover, so on our walk back from readymoney beach we decided to take a look. The staff were very welcoming to non residents and made us feel at home. It was Sunday lunchtime and the offer of 4 courses for just under £20 was just fantastic.

We were married 10 years ago on 10th February 2009 and held our reception at the then Fowey Hotel which has long been a favorite of ours. We had already lunched at the new version as the Harbour Hotel. We chose to return for dinner on the anniversary. Unfortunately we had to

My husband and I stayed here for midweek break. What a view there was from our lovely room, over the estuary! The hotel dining room is a very relaxing place, again with beautiful views. Staff are very friendly. The extra cost to pay for parking is worth it as there is nowhere

I am so sorry but I have only just seen your enquiry. There are steps to enter the hotel on one side, but none for the main entrance. There is a really beautiful, old style lift there. But there may be a ground floor room available too - worth contacting them. They are very helpful and would accommodate you as best they can, I am sure. Fowey centre is a downhill walk but it is quite a steep climb in places on the way back. Best wishes

If you walk along the front of the hotel for about 10 mins the best beach is called Ready Money. It is really beautiful and worth going to and you have access to the coast walk from there.
