Had my stag do here over St. Patrick's day weekend and it was quite possibly the best weekend of my life! We genuinely had the feeling that Stuart and Harry would have done anything in their power to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. From printing off event tickets for us and providing additional furniture and even a fridge...

I was a little paranoid when my best man had told me 16 of us were staying in a B&B as I had visions of us being thrown out into the street. We stayed Friday and Saturday night causing a lot of noise and lads coming in and out all through the night. Each morning we were greeted by Stu...

We stayed at Durham House whilst visiting our daughter and son in law currently settling into their new home in the area. Stuart and his Dad, Harry made us extremely welcome (we later learned Stu's wife was away,...

Nothing was too much trouble from allowing us to use the breakfast room for a take away to...

I booked this hotel due to its location as i am studying at Gateshead leisure centre. This is my 3rd night at this hotel and I have had a great time. As a solo female traveller it can be quite daunting staying in an unfamiliar place, but the owners couldn't have tried any harder to make my stay any better....

I was looking for an inexpensive bed & breakfast in Gateshead for five nights, and this was just right. I received a friendly welcome when I first arrived, and my room was clean and comfortable. I had an early start each day, but the proprietor was very accommodating as far as breakfast time was concerned. There are several places nearby...
