Real food cooked to perfection. Sunday lunch, 5 veg, 3 different types potatoes , me holker estate venison, partner beef, melt in the mouth meat, perfectly cooked veg. Hampsfell house is like going back 20 years, before the small portion contemporary food came into place. A lovely bar area for pre dinner drinks , lovely open fire. Keep up the...

Lovely private hotel with warm and friendly staff mainly family members. Have eaten here before but this was the first time with over night accommodation and we were definitely not disappointed. Had a wonderful meal with friends. Ordered seafood gratin starter which was delicious. There was a special steak offer on as well as a the normal menu, several of our party had steak and all were cooked perfectly! Great venue with real character.

Stayed here after personal recommendation. Couldn't have been better, nice room, first class meals, and most attentive staff, who are all members of the family. Location slightly remote, but none the worse for that. Would certainly go again Ken and Joan Lever. Sandbach. Cheshire.

Our third visit to this hotel. We have not stayed for a couple of years but it is still as good as we remembered. The food is REALLY REALLY good and the hotel itself excellent. Clean comfortable room and a roaring log fire down stairs in the well stocked bar. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and their...

The Hampsfell House Hotel certainly deserves it's great Trip Advisor rating. This is why we booked it. The Hotel is a little out of town, but within walking distance. It is set in the most delightful gardens, with ample parking. Walk through the door and you are greeted with the sight of a well stocked bar and when you enter...
