The Brooklynn Guesthouse is a lovely old house filled with collected objects and books. We had a twin room - the Chinese room - which was bigger than other twin rooms we occupied during our 2-week trip. Everything was clean. There was shelf-space for all our toileteries in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a delight: Silvia and Alan...

What a pleasure it was to have you and your friend staying with us. Both Alan and I enjoyed all the breakfast chats. We are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Brooklynn - so did we! We trust that all was well back in Germany on your return home. We look forward to welcoming you back...

The room was adequate, with interesting decorative items and original woodwork, etc. Breakfast was delicious and the highlight of the visit at Brooklyn. Silvia was resistant to providing a room key and commented that "nobody bothers with keys" and "this is the Highlands" when I checked in. She did reluctantly provide one. I felt her actions were odd given that...

Thanks for your review and we wholeheartedly agree that the delicatessen 'Elephants in the Pantry' is an asset to our attractive town. We are sorry that our front garden did not merit your approval. The heather is magnificent in the spring and is much admired. We are always happy to provide keys for guests, but most don't require them. Our...

Three day stay, with delightful owners, who have travelled practically around the world and have filled their B&B with fantastic artifacts. Accommodations were five star, as was the food and experience. Thank you Alan and Silvia for a wonderful experience.

Very beautiful from the outside, lovely and full of details at the inside. Large room with clean bathroom. We would have loved to stay longer. Our hosts prepared a wonderful breakfast (try the scrambled eggs with salmon) and have been very helpful planning our day. Very kind and friendly people that make you feel welcome. Great experience!

It was a pleasure to have you and your family staying with us. What a super present for your father's 70th birthday - a trip around the malt whiskies of the Spey Valley. Dear Iris and Stefan, It was really a pleasure to read your review especially at this time of year. We received your gift of wild garlic seeds this morning and they will be planted in the next few days. That was most thoughtful and much appreciated. “All the rooms are named after Malt Whiskies - we had Glen Grant, which faced the front - it's a quiet road - and was comfortable, but the ensuite shower room did use up quite a lot of of the spare space. If space is what you need, it may be worth asking about a larger room.”
