The first nights stay was almost unbearable. The room was so hot my face felt as if it was burning and that was with no central heating on.I normally like heat as i work in a hospital where the temperature is always at the recommended heat for comfort. WE DISCOVERED THAT THE ROOM WE WERE GIVEN WAS ABOVE THE BOILER...

Stayed two nights in the Craiglynne, the room was nice and clean and looks fantastic from the outside. The inside was impressive with a huge dining room,to be honest the menu was very small and could do with more choice we chose not to eat there because of the menu.On the other hand the breakfast was very good as were the...

Bad experience. If you want to trigger your dust allergy it's the right place to be.Room was dusty, beds were covered with old ran down woolen covers. Bathroom was old.Not a good choice, stay away. Manager on duty was arrogant and not helpful .

My wife and I have just returned from an excellent weekend break. The deal was 2 nights Dinner, Bed & Breakfast at this imposing hotel on the edge of Grantown on Spey. We both felt very comfortable in this lovely old building, extremely friendly and obliging staff, pleasant ensuite room and the included 3 course dinners were outstanding and varied...

I chose to stay here on a business trip after staying in a few local B&Bs and finding them a bit too friendly when I was just trying to work. Basically I was looking for something a bit bigger where I could be more anonymous. The building's beautful, and the interiors are slightly dated but well kept. My room was...

This is our second stay at the Craiglynne Hotel the first being around 10 years ago, i was searching for a good deal and the Managers special at £75 a night seemed good to me, this included double room, dinner bed and breakfast and we could bring our wee mutt for the princely sum of £10 extra. Let me first...

We chose this hotel because of its ideal location for exploring the area and the Cairngorms. We found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much bother and there was a lovely roaring open fire in the evenings. Our room was clean and spacious. There was a good variety of food on offer as well as...

Liked this hotel. Very quiet because of time of year, and it was a Thursday. Nevertheless, staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Hotel was clean. Room was clean and comfy. Wifi was genuinely excellent, which isn't something you can say about most hotels... so I managed to get a lot of work done while there. Would definitely use again.

This was our first trip back to the Craiglynne after working and meeting each other 30 years ago. It was just as we remembered it. Our room 101 was lovely, clean and warm. The staff were busy but extremely polite and helpful. Good luck to Chris and Sam for your future vision and the season coming up. We'll definitely be...
