Lovely people, fabulous food, comfortable rooms and beds, and a wee dram in the evenings with the owner who is only too happy to recommend days out or local walks and is also great with kids. We'll definitely be back!

Our hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had a lovely spacious room. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The nearby walks in the forest were delightful.

Last minute desicion to get away for a few days. We had the family room (room no.1) which had plenty of room for 3. Beds very comfortable and shower and toilet was spotless. Even though the hotel was full the I could not fault the service and we enjoyed breakfast. Had a great few days away and would go back...

We stayed here in August 2016 for two nights. Stephen and Virginia were very helpful hosts. Excellent food and the rooms were very clean. There was plenty of parking at the back of the guest house and we would definitely go back.

We rocked up on our bikes after dinner after a slight scheduling mishap with another B&B a few towns away. Steve and Ginnie were incredibly welcoming for us at the last minute and we ended up in a beautiful room and a wee dram as a nightcap. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing option in a stressful moment....

We spent great three nights in this house. Stephen likes to talk and gives the evenings a special thing to it. We enjoyed trying different kind of Whiskys with him and the if you like something different - his selfmade Sloe Gin is worth a try! Even if it's not Christmas... Just watch out if you go for a run...

If you don't have a plan in place for the day, Steve will send you on your way in great detail. When you get back, go to the lounge for a wee dram and warm...
