Did not stay here as we were only day trippers, but if the service in the sidecafe and bar was consistant with the hotel then the hotel deserves a top rating. We only popped infor a beer, coffee anda snack. All was top notch and very reasonable in a nice clean environment. Made recomendation to our coachdriver for future reference.

Very nice hotel, old fashioned but very clean, friendly staff and very good breakfast, good hotel for touring the area, there is also a lift in the hotel that you need to operate yourself, great fun, also very popular with bird watchers.

Stayed here for a week with two friends on a birdwatching trip. Large old comfortable hotel with some of the friendliest and helpful staff I have ever come across. Large comfortable room with excellent food. (The buiffet breakfast sets you up for the day!) The Birdwatching club where you can share information is excellent with some very knowledgeable guides. We...

This is the first hotel room I ever opened the door and said "wow." I was lucky enough to get "Queen Victoria's Room", where Queen Victoria actually stayed in 1860. There was a four poster wooden bed with a beautiful canopy and drapes on the posters. The room was huge, had plenty of room to walk around and more than...

It markets itself as a birdwatching and wildlife hotel and supplies plenty of information on where to go and what to see. There are wildlife based talks in the evening, some beter than...

The Grant Arms hotel was an excellent place to stay. They are very friendly and the room (we stayed in a triple) was very clean and comfortable. We were on bed, breakfast and dinner -- the menu changed daily except for the supplement items such as smoked salmon or venison. There was always a soup and some sort of smoked...

We had a wonderful time here, our second visit, but our first Celebrity Guided week. We travelled by air from and to Bristol to Dalcross, Inverness. The hotel had arranged for us to be met and taken back to the airport which made our journey a dawdle. We had a Superior Room, very comfortable with a view over the Square...
