We came to Halifax for a wedding and the staff at the hotel could not have been more accommodating. They gave early access to the room so we could get ready and even offered to take us to the wedding venue when the taxi was late and we were getting anxious about being on time! As it was all was...

Excellent service from friendly staff and management are very hands on. Very clean and presentable with modern tasteful furnishings. Everything we needed for our anniversary night out. Short distance walk downhill to canal towpath finding many canal side pubs and places to eat. Sowerby Brige is a quaint market town with many newbuilds on the canal moorings. Round off the...

I stayed at this hotel for one night, travelling on business. My room was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable bed and had everything I needed in the way of amenities. The bathroom was a good size and looked like it had recently been refurbished. The reception staff were all very helpful throughout my stay including opening the bar area so that...

I stay in this hotel frequently for work purposes and thoroughly enjoy it each time, the staff there was great you with a smile and always up for a chat (something that's only too rare in most big hotels nowadays). The rooms are slightly smaller than the standard hotel, however, you get a decent sized bed and the limited space...

The hotel is larger than I thought it would be, with a seating area, bar and breakfast room all in good condition. It looked as though the hotel has been done up a few years ago, nothing is shabby, apart from the weather when we arrived. The room was comfortable and had everything you need, with a large bathroom and...

Me and my wife decided to re visit our wedding venue recently after getting married here in 2013. As always a warm welcome and a nice personal touch. We had a great meal for two in the conservatory, the food was great as always. We will be back a again soon.
