If I had just stayed for one night then this hotel would have been given a very good unfortunately I stayed for two. Whilst not the most beautiful of buildings, the facilities are good and the room size was excellent with a decent ensuite. There is a pizzeria on site but I would only label this 'fine'. Jock's bar (part...

Stayed for 1 night b&b. Rooms spacious and well presented, pretty gardens and great location just minutes from loch leven. Food was just ok. Evening meal was slow and the food was fuel rather than a taste experience, same applied in the breakfast. That said, what the hotel lacked in finess it made up for in location and value. Would...

Long weekend stay. B&B. Refurbished room with comfy bed and well appointed. Some of the communal areas are a little tired. We had great weather and were out so not making use of the facilities but it was good to have that option. Good choice from buffet breakfast. Only down points for me were bland evening meal and cig buts...

Lovely evening meal and Tracey could not have been any more helpfull and charming with the children. Children enjoyed the facilities. Loch Leven Castle and play park a must. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit of a let down and really should be improved. Leisure staff have a job on their hands matching the needs and...

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Windlestrae with a group of friends. We stayed from Fri-Sun and had arranged golf at the 2 courses. The check in was straight forward enough although our rooms were not ready that was not an issue as we had booked to play golf after lunch anyway. However we had to go across...

The service was shocking & nobody seemed capable of dealing with long food delays, wrong food delivered. To add insult to injury they couldn't even get a complimentary drinks order right. The place also needs a substantial refresh to remove all the taped up carpets and broken shower heads.

Only stayed for one night to attend a family party but our experience was excellent. Staff were friendly and happy to help with anything. I asked at reception for extra pillows and a fan because the room was very warm and they arrived in our room within an hour! The room was spotlessly clean, had been recently refurbished and very...

--considering what we were paying for B/B we were very apprehensive, but certainly were not dissapointed the checkin was friendly and quick, there is no lift 2 short flights of stairs to the rooms--our room was very nicely furnished with ample storage space--love the telly on the wall!Bathroom was super with lovely white towels and nice toiletries. Another detail that impressed...

There was nothing to fault here. From the moment we were booked in by the friendly and welcoming Heather on reception until we checked out, we enjoyed our stay enormously. The room was clean and spacious with a well appointed and obviously recently refurbished bathroom. The bed was large and very comfortable. We ate in both Monty's and Basil's (in...

Upon driving towards this hotel we thought how lovely. However we were met with loads of cigarette butts all around the steps leading up to reception. It soon became clear that drinkers were coming out of the adjacent bar and flicking cigarette ends all over the area. Such a sad introduction to this hotel. We decided to eat in Jocks...
