This is a nice clean and well located guest house. It is only 5 minutes drive from the main port and has suitable car parking. Breakfast is good and the owner is very friendly and helpful. We arrived late night and got a nice welcome.

This B&B just outside of the town of Kirkwall is about a 20-minute drive from the ferry, and was in an ideal location for our two-day exploration of Skara Brae and the surrounding ruins. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. The space was no-nonsense and felt a little more like a hostel, but with private rooms and bathrooms. The food...

This is absolutely perfect place where to stay on Orkney. Located in quiet street in suburb of Kirkwall, bus stop of the line 9 app. 3 minutes walk, but it is easy to go to downtown by walk - it takes 15 minutes max. The room was perfectly clean, very nice bathroom with modern shower, tea/coffee making facilities (everything replenished...

Great welcome, room is spacious, clean and bright. Have stayed at a few B&B's on the island and this has been the best so far. Great selection of breakfast menus. I had to leave very early to catch the ferry and breakfast was made available for me. Once again great services. Would highly recommend this B&B.

Patsy is the perfect host. Approachable and helpful to all requests. So many facilities and information available: a shared computer, a shared kitchen (for eating in) and living room, emergency snacks to purchase, maps and leaflets galore. The rooms are practical and have everything you need, fairly priced and clean. The location is excellent - on the edge of the...

I have stayed 11 nights in Bellavista: it's an excellent b&b: the room was very comfortable, the breakfast very good and my hostess had a real sense of hospitality. There is the possibility to prepare our own lunches, to wash our clothes and even to use a computer. Ther are a lot of documents about the isles (books, maps, descriptions...

Stayed here for four nights while on a business trip, was welcomed by Patsy the owner and shown my room which was spacious and exceptionally clean with a view of the sea. Dined from the buffet breakfast each morning rather than the cooked breakfast of which both were very good. Patsy was very helpful and knowledgable during my stay. The...

My family and I were there for 3 days while we commuted from Bellavista to the Festival. It is exceptionally clean, breakfast is delicious and Patsy, the lady who was waiting on us, was very sweet and helpful. Very recommended if you are around Kirkwall for few days.

I chose the Bellavista from the Visit Orkney brochure, on the basis of the friendly response when I phoned. And it was the right decision. It is a comfortable place with a wide range of breakfast choices. We could come and go as we wished, and there was a lounge to sit in when we needed a break from all...
