Fantastic double room with en-suite, very clean and comfortable. There is a large kitchen and living space upstairs and our room also had kettle with tea, coffee and hot chocolate and towels and hairdryer were provided. This is a hostel in name only. A great place to stay within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

There was 3 of us and we booked for a four night stay. We booked a four bedded room. This was very comfortable and had lots of room for a hostel. The bathroom was good size and the shower was great, just what you need after a busy day. The kitchen was very well equipped and was kept very clean...

I stayed here for 2 nights while on a Haggis 7 day tour. I stayed in a 2 bunk - 4 person room with a beautiful en suite bathroom. The beds were comfortable and we even had a tv in the room. There was a relaxing common area one floor up and a well-appointed kitchen for self-catering travelers, though my...

The beds were a lot more comfortable than the average hostel which made a huge difference. The rooms were spacious, draws under the beds for luggage and plenty of PowerPoints. The kitchen was huge, tidy and had a large range of utensils etc. The chill room was great, lots of tables and sitting areas. We were able to fit 15-20...

The rooms were well sized and most have en-suite bathrooms, they are clean and well presented as is the hostel itself. It was a great place to base...

A sudden change in the weather led to this last minute booking (from camping) and we have been very happy to make the change. It is modern, clean, comfortable, well stocked, excellent facilities and the people we meet were very helpful and friendly. There is a computer, big tv, nice dining area, ample kitchen and plenty of space in generous...

Kirkwall makes a nice central base to explore the Orkney islands and it's also (in my humble opinion) the nicest town with a good array of shops and restaurants. The hostel is a short walk from the town center. It's really clean and the shower was great and hot. The facilities are top notch; lot's of room in the kitchen...

Staff friendliness, rooms cleanliness, wifi, free parking, well equipped kitchen... We enjoyed every second of our stay in this hostel! We booked a double room with shared bathroom and it felt more like an hotel than hostel. Would come back again and again!
