threadbare but clean, corridors has a strong smell of jeyes. Quiet as we were only guests on a friday night. No breakfast at all as it was extra and we didn't book it and restaurant closed. No one thought to check if we wanted breakfast or even just offered coffee and cereal. Nowhere else nearby either.

The hotel was very welcoming and the receptionist was very pleasant. The room was very clean and tidy with all the facilaties we needed. I found the offer of fresh milk good this was so much better than the cartons.

Good value for money paid, no issues with accommodation. Room was clean and tidy. We only needed a bed for 4 nights being away all day but this hotel was great for the cost. The hotel is old and rambling but for what we needed.

This is a pleasant small hotel in a quiet location just out of the town centre, too far to walk, five minutes drive. The facilities are limited and no meals available on a Sunday evening, but it is a small hotel. I stayed in a double room for single occupancy, good sized room with adequate facilities including free wi fi,...

Stayed for 1 night in a twin room. Room was very clean, tidy and spacious also with a good shower. The breakfast was nice and plentiful. The decor in the room could be modernised but everything is there you could need.

Stayed here for one night and ate in the restaurant. The food here was nice enough and all the staff were very friendly. The hotel is quite dated and we were woken up by creaky floor boards from the room above us. The bedroom was clean and comfortable, it was fine for a one night stay.

Pro's - clean, friendly staff, good free parking and location. Con's - room smelt of damp, bed was horrendous, weird smell in the hallway leading to room. Could be a brilliant hotel but needs money spending on it.

Arriving as a family group, it was nice to receive a warm welcome at reception. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Reception were also very helpful when it came to checking about routes and outings. Although the breakfast was mainly served buffet style, the catering staff were happy to assist if needed.

We booked in here through Expedia and found it easy to find via our sat nav. First impressions were good, large car park and friendly and efficient check in. The room itself was a touch tired and in need of TLC but was clean, comfortable and had a large sofa in the window. We had a view of the steam...
