I've had the absolutely pleasure of staying for 3 days in a room with every comfort and sea views. The food was delicious and the home made jams were too. Everything was clean and tidy and such lovely people to stop and chat with. The house keeper Teresa (I apologise if this is spelt wrong) made sure the room was...

A very pleasant place to stay. Bath pod with 4 different showers. Kingsize pocket sprung and memory foam mattress for a good night's sleep. The owners made you feel at home. The continental and full English breakfast was cooked to your requirements. This was the house where Benjamin Britten was born so a little bit of history as well.

We visited Lowestoft for a family gathering and we were lucky enough to find this lovely B & B. The owners were very welcoming and the room was nicely appointed. After watching the stunning sunrise we had a very filling breakfast - excellent variety. We would highly recommend this B & B.

This has to be one of the loveliest bed and breakfast we have ever stayed at. We found this little gem about 5 years ago and have stayed here many times. The owners are kind, generous and very welcoming. Would highly recommend it .

A 5 day holiday to suffolk ( and Norfolk) as we had never visited before and my wife had distant family connections. We found Britten House on trip advisor and the location and reports seemed to indicate it would be a good base. As usual TA got everything correct and the whole house was wonderful. The owners were excellent hosts,...

A very comfortable place to stay. Not too far from the centre. We only stayed one night, but would recommend to families or couples. We were at the front in a large room but no traffic noise. Clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast very tasty.

Beautiful building that's been lovingly restored to an amazing high standard. Gorgeous bed, and bedding, even the lovely fluffy towels smelt of fresh laundry. One of the best cooked breakfast I've ever had on our first morning and an amazing omelette on our second morning. Great views and conveniently situated within waking distance of a good selection of pubs and...

Stayed in room 4 for 3 nights and lovely room, spacious with great bed and facilities. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and one of the best I have had. The hosts were always helpful and great characters and enjoyed our stay. Parking was not an issue on the road outside and a stones throw from the beach and promenade. Ten minutes...
