We have just got home from a wonderful night at this fabulous hotel! A huge thank you to Kirsty, Lloyd, the reception team and your amazing barman at the Tudor bar- they all made our trip so special. Our room (2a) was lovely, as was all the hotel in fact, but it really is the staff members who made it a treat for us.
My stay at the hotel was a complimentary stay/ compensation for a hideous stay at another MacDonald hotel and I have to say they redeemed themselves. I stayed overnight with my 12 year old son. The hotel is in a beautiful setting and is beautifully maintained. The main house is stunning as you arrive. Upon entering the reception hall we were greeted by a very smiley Lucy, who explained where we could find everything we may need around the hotel and grounds, even giving us a map. Our room was spacious and clean with a full size bath and walk in shower and had a small balcony with bistro table and chairs. We were in a family room and my only concern would have been that the bunk beds would have definitely been too small/ short for my children had we stayed as a whole family. We were able to use the leisure facilities - the pool was warm and clean. We dined in the restaurant/ bar attached to the leisure club and were served cheerfully by Dan. Breakfast was also excellent with a huge selection to choose from. Upon check-out we were greeted cheerfully by Lucy again and Sandra, who quickly and easily sorted a very minor issue. Thank you for a lovely stay, my son keeps asking when we can come again!…
We visited here for a wedding. It is a really beautiful hotel with lovely facilities. It is very clean. The rooms are simple but very comfortable and homely. The grounds are lovely to walk around and are kept in amazing condition. It is easy to travel here, as my husband came via public transport. I drove and there is ample parking. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be that when people state they have dietary requirements this is considered a little more as we had a couple of issues. For instance a vegan being sent a standard full English breakfast and also, the following day being given dairy butter when ordering The vegan full English. Otherwise a lovely stay!
We had a splendid week. This was helped by perfect weather. We have been going to Elmers for many years and the previous high standard has been maintained The setting is enhanced by the proximity to the IOW fery which is five minutes walk and nearby Exbury Gardens are just magnificent for the whole family in spring
Another lovely peaceful and comfortable stay at Elmers Court in well equipped appartment. Outdoor pool looked very inviting but too chilly in April! indoor pool, sauna and steam were much used by our family. The views over the Lymington River are beautiful and situated very close to the town with its inspiring shops, cafes and Saturday market. Plenty to do - a variety of walks in the New Forest, walk by the sea, nature reserve at Keyhaven, cycling, horse riding, art galleries, spoilt for choice.
We had a very enjoyable stay at Elmers Court with a great apartment having lovely views over the Solent. The resort has good facilities including tennis courts and a gym. So all in all a very good spot for a holiday.
We had a lovely stay in Solent View and the view was amazing. The grounds and accomodation are very well kept. Had a nice meal in the retaurant. The children enjoyed the pitch and putt and to top it all the weather was more like summer thatn early spring. Looking forward to our next visit.
We had a great time staying in self catering lodge with our two children aged 5 & 7. Large stunning grounds with plenty of space to play in. Great swimming pool with area for adults to swim and shallow part for kids to play. Would happily stay again.
Everything was provided in our cottage apartment for an excellent stay ! Lymington is so quaint and pretty ! 5 minute walk to the Isle of Wight Ferry for those Wanting to visit ! The grounds are beautifully maintained and we enjoyed walking down the bottom of the garden to watch the IOW ferries go past! Overall a lovely stay, great staff - so kind and friendly !
Everything is of the highest quality and the staff are superb, accommodation is second to none, the facilities wonderful, the grounds magnificent. The views over The Solent are magnificent, the ferry passing by is always interesting. Location for the New Forest is brilliant.
