We went on a Travelzoo deal in 2012 which promised foraging , interactive cookery and 3 course meal with perhaps lobster etc , wine with each course and Mrs Tee as host and a top Michelin trained chef . I demanded a refund from Travelzoo as this deal was a TOTAL misrepresentation . On arrival and some ghastly coffee we...

Absolutely filthy Room, and extremely dated. The Food awful, and the owner was stubborn. The dust was so unbearable that we had to leave early in the morning without getting any sleep. Would never ever return

What an absolutely terrible place,It was seriously dirty and actually had a horrible odour it seemed completely stuck in a time warp, with old tired dated furniture, and a thoroughly unpleasant atmosphere. The owner was unwelcoming and rude, and made us feel very uncomfortable, we felt that anything we asked for was an irritation to her,we were booked for two nights but left...

This B &B is very poor with bedding that a charity shop would bin , pillows so old that they were heavy with dust mite poo.the cold water tap in basin did not work and we were unable to close the curtains as the pulley was not working. Breakfast was better with a full English . Mrs Tee on the...

As a chef and nature lover, I found my stay in the New Forest so wonderful. It was our first time to this magical part of the country; and my boyfriend, Jack Russell and I were most welcomed at this beautiful house, which is so perfectly situated amongst breath-taking scenery. I first learnt about Mrs Tee through one of my...

We fully endorse the review from Debfromhants below. A previous review by us was not posted, possibly as being too heartfelt... What we got was nowhere near what we paid for. It was billed as a foraging expedition led by Mrs Tee, with lunch prepared from the foraging thereafter, and paid for in advance. As it was, she did not...

Mrs Tee is lovely and very friendly and cooked a brilliant breakfast included with her legendary wild mushrooms. Dont believe the negative...

I felt I needed to leave this review because a lot of the other reviews of Gorse Meadow seem quite unfair to me. Mrs Tee is a lovely lady with lots of fascinating stories to tell. She was polite and courteous throughout our stay. Our room was clean and tidy and a perfectly adequate base. The house is amazing, yes...

I bought my husband a foraging experience at Mrs Tees b&b. The idea was that you go out foraging in the New Forest for the renouned wild mushrooms that Mrs Tee has cleared the forest of. You then got to cook your harvest and sit down to a 3 course lunch with maybe some Lobster or other local produce, whilst...

Terrible stay - stayed six months ago but just watching a repeat of Four in a bed reminded me of the horrible stay. Everywhere seemed dirty and sheets appeared not to have been changed from last visitors. Avoid at all costs
