We stayed here three nights to explore Lymington and was not disappointed. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. Although situated in a quiet road, it is an easy stroll to the High Street, the town centre and the harbour. Fraser, the owner, is a very attentive and pleasant host and nothing was too much trouble. My breakfast eggs were the freshest they could be, as there were four chickens in the garden! I would thoroughly recommend this B&B which is definitely hotel status.

Arrived this BH Weekend with family. Greeted by a smiling Fraser. Stayed 3 nights. Lovely clean comfortable room. Breakfast was perfect, set up for the rest of the day. Lots of walking. Lovely circular walk around Lymington and the salt marshes. Plenty of places to eat. Would recommend The Fishermen’s Rest. We will return. Thank you Fraser and Maria.

I can sum up this Bed & Breakfast in one word "immaculate" From the moment we pulled into the car park at Highfield Boutique Bed & Breakfast you could see the amount of hard work & effort that has gone into presenting the house. A press of the Ring doorbell and we were greeted by Fraser who extended a very warm welcome, he talked us through the features of the house such as the electronic keys, automated lights and how to exit the hotel, we then went to our room (8) where we were more than pleasantly surprised by the size of our room & how well kept it was, the bed was huge and so comfortable and the bathroom again enormous with a fantastic shower. After unpacking we left to explore the area a little before our dinner reservation at The Elderflower, Fraser kindly offered us a lift to the restaurant but as it was a lovely evening we decided to walk. We had a very peaceful night's sleep followed by a tasty full english breakfast, (sausages were lovely as were the poached eggs from the hens in the garden) we met Maria Frasers wife, again, very charming and helpful. If you get a chance in the evening and the sun is shining, sit out on the Patio, we did just this Fraser & Maria were both there having a well deserved rest and we enjoyed a few sun downers with them chatting about the house, children & what we'd been up to that day, Fraser went to the kitchen and provided ice & Lemon for our gin and tonics and a bowl of olives, they make an amazing team and nothing is too much trouble for them, this is not a B&B, it's so much more than that. There is no doubt that it if we are visiting the area again we will definitely stay at Highfield again.

A warm welcome by Fraser. We stayed in room 7 which was very spacious, immaculately clean and extremely well presented. A generous hospitality tray and a delightful basket of toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of options. The half English was plentiful, not sure a full English could be eaten without a lie down afterwards. Great to have parking too. Five minute walk into town and pubs, restaurants etc. worth booking in advance in peak season. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we come to lymington to see friends or on our way to Isle of Wight.

This is the second time I have stayed at Highfield and it left such a good impression the first time that I came back 3 years later. It's great to be so well looked after, the house is amazing and you feel like you are almost at home. Very comfortable, nice easy parking at the front, lovely breakfast and incredible staff. 6 out of 5 stars - Will return for sure.

Wow - this B & B is nothing less than superb! When we arrived we were offered a tea, coffee or a beer by the lovely owner Frazer. We had the most lovely coffee and then we were shown to our room (we had the access room) which was lovely, very clean and modern! Frazer and Maria to the time to recommend places to go to see and to eat! Nothing was to much trouble for our hosts - they made us fell so welcome even bringing me more of their lovely coffee to my door in the morning! As for the breakfast - this was without a shadow of doubt the best breakfast we have had and it pains me to say this as I do a mean breakfast myself but this was better! The room was quiet and had tea and coffee making facilities, soaps and shampoos and even a Ferrero Rocher. I cant fault this place or our hosts and we are looking forward to returning shortly! Thanks you Frazer and Maria x
