Had a Saturday night stay in a seaview room with balcony right over the entrance, the room was beautiful but what spoilt our stay was the noise outside the entrance from non residents attending a xmas party, this carried on until the early hours, there is seating outside for non smokers and an area away from the building for smokers... We stayed at Grand 22 this weekend. Having not been to Lytham before we were really taken aback by how lovely it is - unfortunately it would be fair to say we were slightly disappointed by the hotel. It was nice, obviously, and the Reception staff were lovely and welcoming, and the pool and spa in the main building were... More

Beautiful room with beautiful view. Classy surroundings with great staff easy parking and all round excellence. Breakfast was good with wide selection and the bar was diversely stocked with some unusual gems. Well done guys.

Been coming to Blackpool now for 8 years now, due to my daughters annual dance gala in the Winter Gardens, which is held in November. I wouldn't consider Blackpool to be a typical Spa resort, and trust me it certainly isn't. However, take a 4 mile trip from Blackpool Tower, to Lytham St Ann's and you could be 500 away... More

I arrived with my family late on a Friday evening. Young kids were antsy from a long car ride and parents were frazzled keeping everything organised. The staff was welcoming and professional even when we weren't at our best! What set them apart as a truly classy hotel, was that they maintained poise and generosity when I asked for pizza... More

Have stayed in the main building a few times and always been thoroughly happy, but this time the only availability was in 22. We were rather concerned but as my husband and now my sister have breakdowns at the thought of staying anywhere else, it was a done deal. We need not have worried, though quite different in a very... Thank you for your review. I have just investigated the issue that you reported with the bath. The flexible water pipe was trapped underneath the leg support of the bath, therefore as the bath filled the weight pushed down on the pipe and stopped the water from flowing, hence only a small amount of water. Thank you for informing us... More

We regularly visit Blackpool for educational events and always try to stay at the Grand for our visit. The decor is smart and contemporary both in the public areas and the well appointed rooms. The staff are efficient and welcoming and the food in the Cafe Grand restaurant is of the highest standard.
