This is a lovely place to stay. Christopher, the owner, is a fantastic character, with a great sense of humour. The rooms are spacious, with everything you need. The breakfast was made to order and really tasty. A wonderfully English place to stay

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Christopher, the owner, who showed us around the amazing circa 15th century property. The interior, for us, was enchanting. We were shown to our bedroom, which was ‘huge’ and very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and also a fridge. We were given a form in order that we could make our...

The absolute cutest b&b you could probably find - a 16th century house complete with irregular walls and uneven stairs makes it feel very cosy and warm. Run by an extremely friendly host, Chris, who was very helpful and welcoming. All was provided, even a small fridge in the room and letter-writing materials! Everything was spotless and clean; the beds...

My wife and I stayed mid-December 2016. This is a characterful place in a central location. There isn't a right-angle in the place which is completely charming. (How ofter do you get to stay in a 16th century courthouse?) The welcome was outstandingly warm and friendly. Our food preferences — vegetarian and vegan — were accommodated easily. The rooms were...

If you're after somewhere modern and slick to stay then this place isn't for you! If you want somewhere with character, something quaint and quirky then you should give The Old Court House a try! Host Christopher is a delight and there is an old world quality about the place that puts you at ease.

The host Chris was more than welcoming. Both helpful and very polite. Very attentive to every need. The room was spotless and the bed was pleasantly comfortable. The room was very quirky and had lots to offer including; a mini fridge that was stocked up with sparkling water as well as still.

Andrew You seem to have booked about five minutes before you arrived and your booking did not get through the system to me until the next morning: I cannot be held responsible for events beyond my control. I am sorry for the experience but it was beyond my knowledge at the time: I would have been delighted to welcome you...

I was greeted at the door and shown immediately to my room where the facilities, including a mini-fridge (for still and sparkling water), tea and coffee facilities (including milk in the fridge), a personal bath and shower, and a television were shown to me with a promise of more of anything if I needed it, all I had to do...
