Home away from home is the perfect description for this really lovely slice of the UK countryside. We have just returned from a week in Gardeners Cottage, one of the two self contained cottages near the farmhouse and we have had a really relaxing break. It is true we were very fortunate with the weather but what a delight to...

We had a warm friendly welcome from Carol who gave us tea and cake on our arrival.Carol really helped us make the most of our stay. Lovely well kept grounds meant we could relax in beautiful surroundings simply by sitting on a garden bench in front of the house. Advice on the best places to eat was also on hand....

We had a lovely greeting from Carol on arrival, who offered us drinks and home baking which was delicious. The farmhouse is beautiful, and is well-decorated and has a lovely cozy feel to it. We were pleasantly surprised by everything in our rooms - home baked biscuits, a good supply of tea/coffee/drinking chocolate/bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge....

Our fifth time staying at Benhall Farm and it has been as good as ever. Carol and Simon are very friendly, the bedroom is large, quiet and very comfortable- we were in the four poster room, and there is a good selection at breakfast - what more could you want!

Carol made us feel very welcome, with tea and homemade cakes on arrival, even though we arrived quite late. Rooms comfortable and well equipped. Every little detail thought of. Wonderful breakfasts. Really nice to have a lounge to sit in after evening meals out. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the beautiful countryside.

Carol gave us a very warm welcome after our journey, with tea and home made cakes. The room was spotlessly clean and every eventuality was thought of, from the torch in the drawer to cold bottlers of water in the fridge. An assortment of drink options and home made shortbread biscuits to die for. The view from our room (Oak)...
