We were upgraded to a room with a 4-poster and freestanding bath, due to a wedding taking place below our original room. It was very spacious, well decorated, lovely views of the garden and rear patio, impressive. The bed was huge and very comfortable, everywhere was spotless, the shower was powerful. We ate in the restaurant and found it very... More

We booked an overnight stay at the Chase hotel. This is a very nice hotel, lovely staircase, decor and stained glass window. We booked the superior double room, room 8 which was big and the bed must have been a super king size. Our room had a lovely view of the hills and countryside, and was very clean and tidy... More

Have stayed and eaten at the Chase many times. Recently stayed overnight and had breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The beds were comfortable, the linen was fresh and the rooms were clean. The wifi was not consistent and in the end it didn't work at all in our room. The reception service was very ordinary whereas in the past it... More

To be honest the room was a bit disappointing as it was rather dated. Although it was clean and functional. However the bar is a lovely space to spend some time and the food was delicious. Above all, all the staff were very friendly and professional and I couldn't fault them. It made the visit very enjoyable, thank you.

We attended a wedding at this hotel in June and it was really nice. The breakfast was great! The room was a bit dated and tired but the beds were comfy and it was clean. Ask for a room that looks out on to the garden. The food at the wedding was very good and the location of the hotel... More

Many years ago I stayed in the Chase hotel which was so bad I vowed never to go back. I did go back for lunch but I wish I hadn't. Service was appalling and then the meal was incorrect with that stated on the menu. I guess my original opinion was correct.

We stayed here on a Friday night and had a great stay the staff are friendly and accommodating. We had a standard room and because it was a last minute booking we got a good deal but I think if I would have paid the full price I would have complained. It was room 26 (I think), it was small,... Easily one of the nicest afternoon tea's I've had, bought through Groupon so not sure how much would cost normally but lovely venue and very friendly staff. We were lucky enough that the weather allowed us to sit outside as it was far nicer than inside.

Stayed here for one night. It really needs a massive upgrade. The room I stayed in was £85. It was an incredibly small room with decor from the 80's, the mattress was so hard that I presumed it was some sort of secret punishment by the end of it, the noise from the party going on could have been taking...
