Spent two nights at this hotel with friends celebrating a long awaited retirement. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Ross On Wye - approximately 10 minutes walk form the town centre. Plenty of car parking spaces. Large staircase just inside the main entrance/reception...More

The Chase hosted our 2018 French Town Twinning Dinner & Dance. They were very accommodating with the menu and provided for special dietary requirements very professionally. An excellent evening, organisation, facilities, food and service were absolutely superb!

We were bought this as a treat and it was extremely disappointing. The sandwiches were fine, but all on white bread, but the cakes were awful. Lots of them but all shop bought and mostly looked like straight out of Mr. Kipling packaging. Uniform slices...More

Hi there! I'm Chair of Ross-Conde Twinning. On the last Saturday in April we are booked with you for our 40th Anniversary dinner, preceded by a Mayor's reception, all kicking off at 18:30. It is going to be a very large group of people, over 100... You've given us an excellent menu for the evening with choices for each course. It looks super, we're very pleased with it indeed but I have a question regarding children. As far as I understand, we can use the kids' menu at £10 for children up to 10 or a half-portion from the main menu for half the main menu price. I passed this on to my French counterpart who is currently obtaining menu choices from the French who will be coming. She has asked me about young teens, so 11 to say 16 year-olds. She wished to know two things: - are teens (up to a certain age) allowed to choose from the kids' menu if they prefer? - up to what age does the half-price for a half-portion deal go? In France, amazingly, they seem to have access to child's price menus up to 18 or at the very least least 2 levels of children's portion/price so she is shocked that it only goes up to 10 years old. I'd be very pleased to hear back from you even if the answer is a simple no to each of her questions. We will make sure you receive all the choices well before the date and look forward enormously to celebrating this event at the Chase Hotel! All the best, Alison

Hello, no there are not irons in the rooms, but if you ask at reception they will arrange for an iron and ironing board to be brought to your room.
