A weekend away in a party of 19 people to celebrate 70th birthdays this year. Hotel was comfortable, we were well looked after and the food was very good. Great location for the centre of Ross-on-Wye and visiting local places of interest. WiFi was a bit iffy but good to get away from it for a weekend.

Went for afternoon tea with a friend using a groupon voucher costing £20 for 2 usual price £18.50 each. Sandwiches were made with thick sliced white bread! Scones more like rock cakes. Definitely not worth £18.50, just about ok at the reduced price. Would not go again or recommend it.

We stayed at the Chase on our honeymoon and went back recently to celebrate our Ruby Wedding. What I was in my 20s, I didn't even notice that the place has no lift, but in my 60s it was a bit of a problem! The receptionist, noticing that I walk with a stick, changed our room immediately from one on...

Last minute booking a little out of the area I required, but a nice surprise when i turned into the drive to see this lovely old building set in a wonderful location, the building did not suffer from its age, (except for the creaky oak staircase, which i thought was rather nice) the room I had was very well presented,...

Fairly basic hotel in a lovely town in the Wye Valley. Slightly overpriced for what I was expecting Rooms are quite large but with bathroom that could do with some updating. Food - Whilst we only had one dish (Pork Belly), it was very very good for the price. Service to receive a drink & food was very slow but...

We booked a superior room almost last minute at this hotel. It is a beautiful looking building set in 11 acres of grounds. Our room over looked the grounds . I assume it is classed as superior because of this. The room was clean and had tea and coffee making facilities and was on the second floor. Because the building...
