It's so nice to stay at a hotel which is literally a home from home.Being a Yorkshire lad. I like my home comforts and this beautiful farmhouse does not disappoint. John and Hilary are wonderful hosts and the food is first class a breakfast to remember. t thought such warm welcomes and excellence were things of the past but not...

We needed a rest, found this B&B on Laterooms, most of the reviews were positive so we thought we would give it a go. We are so very glad we did, what a warm welcome; tea and cake and a lovely chat :) The bed is the most comfortable I have ever stayed in away from home and the breakfast...

As someone who spends most weeks staying away for work, it was a huge pleasure and delight to find such lovely, warm and welcoming hosts as John and Hilary. On arrival John gallantly carried my heavy bag upstairs and showed us the 2 rooms we had (there are only 3 in total). I had the yellow room (my favourite colour!),...

Lovely people. Superb breakfast; but do not expect the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to be a 'light' alternative! Never eaten better scrambled eggs and had half a salmon [at least!!]. Would certainly stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you John and Hilary.

We stayed here twice as we were looking at property in the area and I must say I have never been offered such a warm welcome. A glass of cider and a piece of cake was very welcome after a 31/2 hour drive. The rooms are comfy and supplied with copious quantities of tea, coffee etc. There are also bottles,...

We stayed at the farm for a week in mid-May. Lovely quiet location, lovely people. As soon as we parked there was a friendly welcome from a dog which tried to lead us straight to the cider cellar! Even more friendly welcome from the owners, John & Hilary Draper: "Cup of tea or a glass of cider?". "Cider, please." "Medium...

Having stayed here a few times now and in my student days I even camped out in the orchards beside the house, it's only fair I leave a review. This place is a real gem and I'll definitely go back again, The rooms are clean and very comfortable, the beds are amazing and being so far out in the country...

Lovely location and Friendly people. Great Veggie Breakfast prepared without any bother at last minute as I had forgotten to inform the owners that I did not eat meat. Beautiful walks with many interesting animals befriended on the way. We had a great time.
