My partner booked this beautiful hotel as a surprise for my 70th b'day. We received a warm welcome and my b'day was acknowledged by the charming receptionist on duty. A helpful member of staff took us to our room and informed us of the local river ferry and timetable. The room was very nice, it was one for guests with...

All the staff were friendly and very helpful and go out of their way to make you comfortable. The choice for dinner was superb especially the fish, we both chose the Lemon...

Very relaxing few days, gorgeous hotel, excellent facilities, good but quite expensive food and drink, but the views are to die for! All staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, the best mattress in a hotel we've ever slept on. Central to salcombe, easy walk to north sands and the coastal path. Dogs welcome in special rooms.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel. It's location is fab, literally over looking the estuary, we had a standard room and it was lovely but a tad cold although it was February. Little touches like complimentary gin and tonic with fresh lemon and lime was in the bedroom. The bed is so comfortable and...

First stay but it won't be our last! We were greeted by a kind, strong guy who took our bags & parked our car. Then the smiley reception staff greeted us & showed us the hotel & spa facilities- their pride enthused us... The 'Estuary Glimpse' room exceeded expectations- we were entranced, the view was breath-taking... The room was sumptuous...

Having never been to Salcombe we went with open minds but the hotel did not disappoint. A lovely room, not large but large enough and much the same can be said for the bathroom. Wonderful location even in winter, great peaceful walk out to the headland which is national trust and a warm welcoming hotel to return to. Staff were...

First visit, it wont' be the last I hope. Probably the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. From Dominic's cheery welcome to Luke's fun & laughter on last night, we felt spoilt, pampered & very special. Went here for a quick drink stop. Nice views out on to bay. Was a rainy day so nice stop for a hot drink. Bit pricey but to be expected for the location. Nice premises and spa attached to restaurant and hotel. Would come back again.
