Spent 5 nights at this peaceful site. Showers are ok, but are not up to the usual caravan club site. Wifi is not always available so patience is required. Everything else is great, the layout and pitches are lovely and well spaced. The scenery is beautiful nestled inside a quarry alongside the Grinlow and Buxton country park. 30 yds from...

After an horrendous 6 hour journey due to the M5 and M6 being clogged up, we were greeted by 2 friendly wardens, who took their time to explain the site and the one way system in place. We found a superb pitch which was relatively level, to be honest most of the pitches looked as if they were level. the...

Lovely site next to a country park. Excellent walk to Solomons Temple and into Buxton itself. The pitches and the site amenities are very good. Would recommend for walks in the Peak, you can go right from the site.

Lovely site next to a country park. Toilet block very good. Ideally placed for visiting the peaks. The pitches are large, well spaces and varied in outlook. Lovely walk to Solomons Temple, Pooles Cavern and Go Ape from the site. Would recommend this site for families who want to explore. Very dog friendly.

What a delightful experience staying at this site!! After an horrendous journey, we were welcomed a lovely lady warden. We found a superb pitch with shade for the dogs and just chilled!! There is no dog walk but the site is next to the Buxton Country Park, perfect for a short climb up to Solomon's Temple, a local landmark. A...

This is a lovely little Caravan Club site with the usual high standard of facilities. The wardens here go to extra lengths to keep everyone happy and seem a lot friendlier than some of the other club sites. Credit to them. It's a fairly cramped site - it's based in a quarry! but the pitches are all of a large...

Really nice site, set in a disused quarry, excellent use of the area which is set in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales just a short distance from bustling Buxton. Grin Low meets all the exceptional standards as expected from a Caravan Club Site, the toilet/shower facilities are exemplary. Staff on the site were polite, friendly and very helpful, again this seems...

We were back again at the weekend. Lovely site, excellent staff and ideal location. The weather was miserable but it didn't spoil our stay. It was our 4th visit in the last 12 months and we have another 6 booked this year. Nice to get away and there is no phone signal which is a bonus. Disappointed with the internet...
