We hired 4 of the cottages and had a fantastic stay - plenty of room in crucks barn for us all to get together and eat. Lovely walks and lovely Sunday dinner at the Royal Oak. Very clean and had all you need for your stay Thank you

Have just returned from Hurdlow Grange having booked 4 barns for the fourth year in a row. It was excellent as always, from booking right through to leaving, it just can't be faulted. Accommodation offers everything you need and want and is fully equipped. Food at the Royal Oak is exceptional, we haven't had a bad meal and the portions...

11 of us stayed in The Grange for the weekend for a Stag Do. Top notch accommodation, all the rooms are a suitable size (even the smallest ones in the attic are still an OK size for two adults to share) Plenty of space in kitchen/dining room for us to easily prepare and then eat meals, and the front room...

This was our 10th annual visit to Hurdlow Grange. Always a weekend in January and usually greeted by snow, between 20 and 35 family and friends (ranging from babies, energetic 4-9 year olds, teenagers, those in middle years(!) and recently retired and oh yes, a few dogs..) gather together in the lovely Hurdlow houses for a weekend of eating, drinking,...

We escaped to Amberleigh House for Christmas in the Peak District and had a fabulous time! The photos on Hurdlow Grange's website do not do the property justice. The house was cosy, but fine for the 5 of us and had a surprisingly well equipped kitchen, particularly for cooking Christmas lunch. The 2 fridges were just right to fit the...

It was an inspired choice to book Hurdlow Grange for a weekend of fun and relaxation in the picturesque Peak District. With a wide range of ages in our group of 12, being able to use the high quality facilities at the Grange and Bat's Belfry was just perfect, with the games room keeping the younger members amused when not...

We booked Cruck'd Barn, Bat's Belfry and Amberleigh house for a family party of 21 from as far away as Aberdeen, Surrey and South Wales. The venue was excellent - freezing cold when we first arrived as the heating had not been on but very quickly warmed up, in fact upstairs in Cruck'd Barn where we spent most of our...

We stayed at Bats Belfry, a beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. The house is clean, modern yet cosy, with a well equipped kitchen for cooking and stunning views all around. Great setting for country walks, country pubs... in particular, the Royal Oak down the road!! Above all the service you get when dealing with Peak Venues is first class.

We had a fantastic weekend at Hurdlow Grange. The house was equipped very well - especially the kitchen. The rooms were flexible with regard to being twins or double which suited us well. There was ample room round the dining table for 12 of us to sit and eat and drink. Plenty of storage room and fridge space. Nice walking...

Found Peak Venues during a Google search and absolutely delighted I did. I have never encountered such a welcoming, helpful company. They team at Peak Venues and The Royal Oak went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great stay. I booked the whole of Hurdlow Grange for 2 days team away days (21 adults) and very glad I...

“All of them are exceptional. The Grange is the big house (sleeps 14, all en suite). But the quality in the other four barns/houses is of the same high standard throughout.”
