My wife and I stayed here for two nights as a birthday treat. Eddie the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. He told us all about the area and where to eat and what to do in the evenings. The rooms are lovely and share a kitchen where you make your own breakfast from ingredients supplied by Eddie and Linda....

Spent two nights at this lovely B&B whilst enjoying Hay on Wye. We have been impressed with our stay here, lovely downstairs twin bed room with en suite. Spotless well equipped kitchen and dining / sitting area upstairs where you have ample choices to make your own breakfast and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. Very welcoming and helpful hosts who...

We stayed here for 2 nights with our dog, Evan. We were all made very welcome, the room was very comfortable and it was great to be able to come and go as we pleased. We made our own breakfast at a time that suited us and could make afternoon drinks too when we returned. The b+b is well located...

We stayed here for one night as part of our Offa's Dyke walking holiday. Our room was lovely and bright and pleasantly decorated with nice finishing touches. A good place for walking around the Black Mountains. The room was well appointed, the people very friendly. Breakfast was d-i-y (fine for me, wanting to leave early.) Not cheap - but I suppose that's Hay for you.

On our way to Ireland we needed a place to stop somewhere in Wales. Choosing Hay Stables was our best decision. We are a family of four and had a double room and a twin room. We appreciated the possibility of using the kitchen for having dinner and for having breakfast whenever we wanted and thus being able to sleep...

We were greeted by a super friendly guy who showed us around and offered us advice on where to eat/things to do if we wanted it. He was available at all times by phone or just by pressing the doorbell but we had freedom to come and go as we pleased. The room was clean and comfortable with a giant...
