Not sure I can add too much to all the previous glowing reviews. But if you are ever in the area, Parkfield is well worth a stopover. Easy to find, I didn't use the Sat Nav because a previous reviewer stated he found directions confusing. Elizabeth was waiting to greet us when we arrived. Plenty of parking space. Very clean room and large comfortable bed. Easy to operate shower. Excellent quality breakfast at £7 a head which still made Parkfield cheaper than other local B & B's. If booking through Booking.com the breakfast is extra which is a bit confusing on their site. Location is very handy for Chepstow races. The Piercefield pub opposite does food (disappointing, see separate review). Thank you, Elizabeth, for a very pleasant stay. Glyn & Ann

Elizabeth was warm, welcoming and an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed and had settled into our room ok. The room was basic but clean, very comfortable and had tonnes of space and storage. There was no phone signal but the free Wi-Fi meant we could still check in with the children at home and be contactable if needed. Breakfast was cooked fresh to our preferences with a beautiful fruit platter, cereal and plenty supply of tea and coffee. Truly exceptional value for the experience we had and would definitely stay again if we were visiting the area!

Cannot fault our stay. Elizabeth and Rodney are excellent hosts. Friendly, welcoming and attentive. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a good size room too with plenty of space. Handy for Chepstow and sightseeing. We had breakfast which included fruit, yogurt, cereal and full English. Gluten-free sausages as standard and gluten-free bread. Plenty of freshly brewed coffee. We’ll be in touch if visiting the area again

Lovely welcome, comfortable clean room and as many have reported an epic breakfast. If you're not sure about anything then just ask. A friendly homely place. Free parking available at front of house. Just message the B&B if you require breakfast as this is additional to room rental.

Our host (Elizabeth) was waiting on the drive for us as we arrived a little later than expected. We had a lovely chat before being shown our warm clean & comfortable room. Everything we needed was there & we booked breakfast time for the morning. For our evening meal, we crossed the road to the Preistfield pub where there was a 15% discount for residents. The breakfast next morning was something to behold: freshly brewed unlimited tea/coffee, cereal, fruit platter, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. I didn't eat anything else that day until the evening meal! Overall, exceptional value - I'm not surprised people return time and time again.

Elizabeth and Rodney should run courses on how to welcome guests. They made us feel so welcome, even though we arrived fairly late due to circumstances beyond our control. They urged us to order a takeaway and found menus for us to look at, then settled us into our rooms and made sure we had everything we needed. The next morning they served a top notch breakfast and gave us loads of advice on which route to take (we were cycling), before waving us goodbye. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. I couldn’t recommended Parkfield BnB highly enough.

We were very well looked after catered for and our stay of two nights were peaceful and comfortable. The cost is very good value for money. We appreciated the care taken with cleanliness and social distancing. Very nice breakfast and nothing is too much trouble.
