I was about to start contract with Saga and was looking for someplace to stay Mon-Fri for 6 months so I called around and guy from Grand Bursdin goes 'yeah we have a lot of Saga contractors here room is around £100' Price sounds wonderful and I head there immediately, park a car, place looks ugly but what would one...

Negatives First We booked online for four people, two rooms. We were given keys for two rooms on the 7th floor. When we entered the corridor where our room are we noticed that some rooms had no smoking stickers on them, which I thought was strange as all rooms are non-smoking now. Our room No. 712 was at the end...

She continues to be a grand old lady, bit tired, but even so she gives a relatively good place to stay, been going there for years on and off, with kids, with family, and now as a couple. Food is the usual hit and miss rubbish but still eatable, sadly we had to complain about 1 restaurant helper from the...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my dog, a chihuahua. Yes, I've stayed in better hotels, but I have stayed in a lot worse, and paid a lot more money. My room was spacious, with plenty of towels, provided toiletries and had a view of the harbour. I could actually open a window for fresh air - an unusual...

My husband and I went on a National Coach last week and stayed at this hotel. I did not hear anybody complaining. Our room was clean, the bedding was clean and the towels were changed every day. The water was always red hot. Yes the dining room was like a canteen but the food was good and plentiful. Yes the...

Miserable people will always find something to complain about. After a sunday afternoon drive we ended up in Folkestone, it was bustling with lots going on in Folkestone, we fancied a Sunday roast and all of the pubs we tried directed us the the Grand Burstin. Its a very short flat walk to the town so we tried it. Without...

Stayed here for the weekend and will definately not return. The hotel is grotty inside and out! As a non-smoker i was not impressed by the amount of people smoking inside the premises and being allocated a room on the 6th (smoking floor) i was not too impressed. The food is less than average, served in a noisy canteen like...

I sometimes wonder if the people who posted bad reviews on this hotel stayed at the same place as me. We stayed for 3 nights in September and I can honestly say i had no complaints with this hotel. The food was hot and plentiful and they did not run out of anything. Yes it was canteen style but there...
