Spent the night at the King William prior to our flight from Luton Airport. As we came in from the A505 the Sat-Nav took us on a trip through Dick Turpin Country which was made of narrow one track roads with passing places. The joy of watching a herd of Deer crossing in front was a pleasure to watch. Booking...

Rooms are basic but more than adequate. We used the hotel for a nights stop over before going on to Luton airport. Great location. Fabulous price. Bar excellent. Staff friendly. Food good. Would highly recommend. Only downer was the size of the bathroom area in our room. Little bit squashed. All in all, great.

After driving down from Manchester to see family, I was looking forward to a lovely lie-in, only to be woken up by a loud male receptionist on the phone for about 20 minutes. Room No. 9 is facing reception. On a good note - the hotel is beautiful and cosy and have great staff (one of them even helping to...

Very sweet pub/hotel but very tucked away. Greeted by a lovely young man who gave us the keys to the room immediately. Rooms are very small and the bathroom...

Considering it's only about 3 miles from the madness of Luton airport we looked out over a quiet field from our room. We booked a night before our trip and got a room in the old part of the Hotel. Although the room was charming it was very small and stuffy, not the best nights sleep. On our return we...

It was really cheap to stay and room was clean and comfortable bathroom was a bit small and shower a bit tricky to work but all in all well worth the cost. We were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the two evenings we spent in the bar. Food was good and all the staff were very friendly.Really peaceful location.

The location of this pet friendly pub is at the end of a long leafy lane in a village called Cockernhoe with a village green and lots of lovely walks in peaceful countryside -a surprise oasis in the middle of Luton and a real gem for dog owners. The locals are friendly and the staff cannot do enough to make...
