We arrived to find the room freezing. Extra heaters were needed to combat the draughts coming through the poorly fitting windows. It was a shame because the owners are very pleasant, the bed comfy and it is ideally located to the centre of town.

We've been coming here for years, don't know why it's taken me so long to write a review on here! You couldn't wish for nicer hosts, a warmer welcome or more comfortable accommodation. Absolutely first rate. The breakfasts are superb and nothing is ever too much trouble - it really is a home away from home.

What a great find! We stayed for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was more 'Guest House' than Hotel. The difference being that you could have 'Breakfast' later! It had the best breakfast choices of any place that we had stayed! A supurb 'Full English' but there was plenty of choice for those who would prefer something 'Lighter'...

If you are looking for a very comfortable friendly B and B look no further. My wife and I had never been to Minehead before and we regard ourselves as very fortunate to have booked in here. Lovely light airy room , the owners Peter and Katrina clearly run the place as a home from home with attention to detail...

Just spent a week at this B and B. Would definitely recommend. Spotlessly clean place. Room and en suite just right. Breakfast lovely with good choices of fruit, cereals, mueslis, etc., plus full English. My friend and I had a single room each with en suite. Would suit families, couples or singles. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. There...

I stayed at Glendower House for 6 nights in August 2016 to photograph the West Somerset steam railway, and I have to say I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for my visit. Peter welcomed me after my long trip from the North, showed me the lounge & dining room, told me what time breakfast would be and...

This is a very clean friendly and comfortable b&b with good parking at the back and lovely breadfasts. It seems to me that everything which can be done for the comfort and convenience of guests has been done.

Would highly recommend to stay here. My partner, myself and 11 year old daughter came home yesterday after a ten night stay and I can not praise Peter and Katryna enough. The little touches like bottled water and biscuits in the room every day and the breakfasts were amazing and so much choice! Had a lovely holiday thank you!

We stayed here for two nights as part of our little tour of Somerset. The B&B is situated in a street just off the main shopping area of Minehead. Very near to the sea front. A lovely house and the owner was very welcoming and chatty. The room was large at the front of the house. It had a king...

It is very difficult to find somewhere that is worthy of 5*, but Glendower has managed it in my opinion. The attention to detail is very evident throughout Glendower. Peter was very welcoming and helpful finding time to chat to the guests and offer advice on where to visit. We unfortunately did not meet Katryna. Parking is no problem, with...
