Stayed at Clarence Gardens with my husband and our gorgeous dog for two nights in October. Were made to feel really welcome and everyone loved our little dog. We could dine with our dog in the bar area which was nice. Breakfast was good as were our evening meals. Bedroom was a reasonable size and the views of the bay...

Only booked here, because we didn't want to drive home after a meal out in town with Scarboro friends....lovely friendly staff, very helpful. Nice small clean comfy room, lovely sea view, I like a cold room to sleep in, was sad that the window didn't open. Overall a good stay.

Stayed here for one night, a lovely clean and comfortable room. Andrea at reception was very helpful and even upgraded us to a sea view - which looked fantastic with the castle as well! Nice and quiet with parking in front, we were given a disc for the parking so we could stay later. Nothing was too much trouble and...

The only good thing that I can say is that the view is amazing. Our room key opened other rooms. That seemed to be a surprise to the desk clerk. Our room overlooks a dingy parking lot and is more of a barracks than a hotel room. It is clean though.

Stayed here for one night as a couple. We stayed in a family room with a sea veiw. We also took our dog. The hotel was spotlessly clean. No trace of the fact dogs were allowed. The room was lovely with very high ceilings and a stunning unhindered view. The room was very clean and felt bright and airy. Andrea...

I stayed here with my partner for a two night break, including a continental breakfast. We were given a room on the 3rd floor which was alright until I had to carry something up the flight to our room, the stairs are a little steep and I have difficulty walking/climbing stairs etc. There is a lift to the 2nd floor...
